Rear facing child seats must not be fitted to a seat that has an airbag fitted.
Unfortunately it is not possible to disable the passenger airbag on the IS200. Attempts to disconnect the airbag would be detected by the airbag ECU and the warning light would be lit on the dashboard and possibly all the other airbags would be disabled.
