Yes, coilovers. And yes, I meant the front. In the instructions it says I need a balljoint splitter, which I bought yesteday, to split the upper wishbone. So this is a unecessary step in the instructions? Also, I'll book myself into a alignment centre recommended by Mr. Morse on another thread. Nottingham 4 Wheel Alignment Centre.

Coil overs or lowering springs? Not sure about no.1 but no.2 - There are a couple of 10mm (I think) bolts and it just unclips. You'll see when you take the wheel off. Very easy :winky: Make sure you get your geometry checked after you've fitted the coilovers too. :winky:

Adie, dont worry doddys got a punto to give u a good race, its got the 2 litre Turbo coupe engine in it running 16psi at 330bhp, if you can bare to watch through the kid doing the borat impression you'll see it kill a Evo 8, the vids are them coming back from the ring, saw the guy who owns it on sat night hes hoping for 12's :o i think its aiming high but who knows lol http://www.puntosports.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=60640 Barry doddy will find out as he comes on here quite a bit, doddys getting seb 4.11 (chip), Pace Intercooler, Pace rad, Wilwoods big brake kit, md103 Turbo, spax rsx coilovers, integrale pump, fse, bigger valve head, catch tank, should be running over 200 if the turbo doesnt go bang lol the guy whos doing all the work for doddy actually raced Marcus i think, as when they did he had to pull over and help him fix something on his car, and as its the only orange turbo'd IS i would think it was him, lol unfortunatly i think he beat him lol.

What To Do With The Budget Given And Hi Newbie Here
BernardTamHK replied to elexes's topic in Altezza Club
commenting on the suspension components (assuming you dont have them already), for 2K euro you can get TRD yellow coilovers + yellow ARB + chassis brace front (triangle) and back (square). With the above, that should tighten you car up real good and put you on rails. Just beware of speed bumps if you install the back chassis brace, as it decreases the ground clearance by around 1 to 1.5 inches. -
Hi, the guys name is Nic, he's a trader on the MKIV Supra forum, who is located in Hong Kong, he's been around a while, and is a well respected person on there. A few of the Aristo owners on here, who have come from Supras, I'm sure will recommend him aswell. He can supply OEM through to pretty much anything, like fascia plates to coilovers. His email is importpimp@mac.com Mention the LOC and he'll look after us. No need to be a Gold Member. How did you get on fitting yours as I got one from Nic too, I have had the standard radio out but could not find anywhere to clip the facia surround to, also my single din cd player would not line up with the mounting holes.

Oh really??? Thought I read somewhere before that the RS is lower :duh: One of the sites said fitting their lowering springs to IS200/RS200 "sports suspension" won't lower the car Went to the Tuning Factory off Kylemore road trying to source some lowering springs and all they do is a full coilover kit for 890 + fitting Probably D2 coilovers were they? Know the lads out in Tuning Factory fairly well, never had them do any work on my car tho obviously lol €500 for springs is rediculous money, would never pay that!

For £180 the world is your lobster mate, not unless you include fitting of course. I have PI's on the IS Sport and they are good, lower 35mm and the handling improved. They are a bit softer Than the coilovers I have on the Tezza so ride quality is still good.

Chips, A lot of people say that they wished they had never sold there mk2's so your not alone. Me on the other hand, i didn't .Got the red one in 1989 the first car i bought. Done several rebuilds on it ovr the years then gave it a power boost 2 years back and fitted a turbo on the pinto engine :D . Then last August i Won the white one at the RSCO national day raffle So i now have 2 It cost me £10. As for the Sierra its not a Cossie. Its an imported 1990 XR4i 3 door. As far as i know there are only a few in the uk. This is my track car. It has been fitted with the V6 2.9 24 valve Cossie engine from the Scorpio. Full 6 point cage, coilovers, full adjustable suspension tops and tca's. Its a nice trackday toy. As for the IS300 havn't looked at them yet but may give them the once over too. And no Autos for me like gears can be more fun. Thanks Rob

they're ultralite grid wp811's in gun metal, any suggestions on coilovers apart from tein as ive read it will only drop the car 35mm As I understood it, most coilovers are adjustable height.
