2015+ RCF RS-R iSport Coilovers. Details and specification can be seen in the RS-R website (Jap built but sold in the US, not aware anyone stocks these in the uk). Good condition with no leaks, cleaned up well with some marks on the chrome finish. Damping adjustable front and rear, included are the rear dampner flexi adjusters purchased extra from Japan that will run from the top of the strut through the rear carpet wall for access. Available as the car is now sold. Along with a fast road geo setup, these worked very nicely, firm but having driven the RCF back on its original oem suspension prior to sale I’d say probably no more so tbh, is a little less tolerant of uneven rds than OEM but the flip side is it has an excellent turn in feel, enhances driver feedback, eliminates body roll and provides you with a stance exactly as you desire rather than fixed height lowering springs I would not recommend for daily cruising if you expect it to feel OEM, but I would recommend if you are looking use that sits between fast road to occasional track use. I was on track for a couple of sessions once and it’s was an awesome experience Expensive to buy new, coilovers not as popular on UK shores where swift springs are preferred I suspect, however I felt the swift springs were too low and prevents the full travel range of the original OEM suspension. Collection preferred (Macclesfield) so that condition can be viewed prior to purchase, can meet halfway dependant on distance and the offer. £875 ono

Hi have quite a big issue with my air suspension. Did a scan with techstream. Need a new compressor and part which splits air to front and rear. Used items are not going to be under £200+ shipping. If I fit new or parts still don't know if that will fix air system. I could be going down a rabbit warren and find I still need more parts. On techstream my ride height sensors are giving huge difference in measurement. Cannot not adjust height via techstream. No air in system might be why I cannot adjust them. I can get a set of BC coilovers for £1000. Very tempted to go down this route, then again I like the air suspension. What views do members have on trying to keep air suspension or go coilovers.

Hi I have a dilemma I have decided to ditch the air suspension on my 2006 SEL its finally given up so I am hoping to fit coilovers. Having scoured the Internet I have found a company on here who supply them, cutting a long story short I have been told that there are 2 rear lower mount holes i need to measure before supply, I'm sure my car is 85mm but the other is 69mm has anyone fitted coil overs to their car and what was their measurement? TIA Dean

Hi all , I’ve been trying to find out if you have to remove height sensors when changing to coil overs, also does anyone no camber angle

Bit of a strange one, I bought a stock ISF suspension setup, mostly for the springs with the intention of going with Bilstein dampers. They were bought from a tuning company and now they have turned up, the dampers are cosmetically in far better nick than expected and I would love to find out what mileage is on them. From what little the company told me I reckon they sold an ISF owner coilovers. By any chance are you that owner? On the off chance the owner is on here, I completely understand if you don't want to message a randomer like myself, if its cool though please drop me a PM with rough mileage they were on when removed. Thanks

Hiya lads, Im new and this is my 1st post, ive read alot of the forums on the lexus we have and its a pure love or hate thing... Theres no middle ground. I absolutely love my car and after 4 years its time for a rehaul... Ive managed to get coilovers but i need a camber kit... Other than ordering it bit by bit would one of the kits for an isf or is250 work? I know the shocks and springs are the same but i cant seem to find much more. Also... Are all 250 an 220d parts interchangeable, and what about the is200d?? Thanking you all in advance.

If anyone is breaking or selling parts suitable for RC F, I am interested to know what ya may have. Considering various exhaust solutions, aftermarket alloys and a decent set of coilovers (but do not need to be extreme performance). Gimmie a poke!

Ok, so my rear shocks are blown and will be an MOT failure... Time to replace but after seeing Lexus dealer prices for OEM parts I'm seriously thinking of fitting a full set of coilovers. Dissapointed I'll lose the in car adjustability of the dampeners but hopefully I can find a good balanced setting on the coilovers. Any recommendations for which coilovers to get? I'm currently looking at Tein Flex Z, HSD monopro and D2 racing (street) Do we have any suppliers on here offering club discounts etc? :)

Is anyone on here running this BC coilover on their IS250? Mine came with 14K/10K springs and are expectedly stiff compared to stock; starting to think these spring rates are meant for the ISF or IS350. So far, the car doesn’t lunge forward too much when I bring it to stop. Currently rides like a bimma infused Fuji. You catch my drift? 🤡 They’re currently set at standard ride height with 15 clicks from stiff to soft all round. I didn’t mess with the preload. Haven’t dialled them in yet. Short of getting plastic surgery on my bum to help absorb the impact of bumps, some feedback from an experienced member would help. The aim is to lower for better handling and looks without shattering my coccyx. Thanks Frank

I have a 2004 LS430 on 170k miles. Both rear airstruts are presumably leaking as the back end drops down very low after the car has been left for a few hours. When the engine is started it recovers after a few minutes and drives fine, however the compressor is a lot louder than it used to be and I'm assuming this is because it is working harder/more than it was designed to do and may be wearing out. I have decided to take the car off the road for a while and do some general repairs/maintenance and am unsure at the moment whether to replace the airstruts and compressor or to replace with new coilovers such as BC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially from anyone who has already carried out this mod and whether there are any pitfalls I should know about. Thanks, Paul

Anyone got a set of Gs300 coilovers for sale? Thought I'd ask before getting new ones

I am keen to hear from anyone that has changed the air suspension set up on a RX300 to a conventional strut and spring set up. I have one leaking airbag and a failed compressor,it seems likely that the other 3 airbags are in poor condition so not keen to start throwing money at the air system. I have seen a couple of coilovers systems ,not expensive,so am considering making the change. Any info on this would be appreciated, also keen to hear from anyone with experience of using the system long term. thanks in advance Peter

Hi, My MK4 has done about 120,000 miles now, and feels a bit floaty on the motorway, I was wondering how does a new OEM struts compare to coilovers? I was looking at these: http://www.buyautoparts.com/buynow/1998/Lexus/LS400/Shock_and_Strut_Set/75-83256_2C.html?xref=787812 And the coilovers I was looking at was this: http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/applications/lexus-coilovers/lexus-ls400-95-00.html Car is currently on 19" Rims, but I may get some 17/18"s instead. Anything else people here recommend? Thanks.

As the title says , took the advise off a member on here and bought some hsd coilovers , had them fitted a couple of weeks ago , then yesterday took it down to a friend of mine who runs a Porsche suspension shop ( CENTRE GRAVITY IN ATHERSTONE WARKS ) THEY SET THE CAR UP TRACK /. CASTER AND CAMBER and fettled with the settings on the adjustable coilovers WOW .... it is utterly fabulous to drive ....the turn-in ...the control ... the ride ... just stunning .......and that's on crappy tyres ( waiting on some Michelins ) so thanks to the members on here and chris & pete at centre gravity ( not cheap but OMG its worth it ) ...
