So sorry to hear about your loss. After such a happy times, sometimes you wonder why these things happen, especially so suddenly. It must be extremely difficult for you and your family. They say time is a healer and i hope the saying is true for you!

Fantastic mate brave for giving it a go but worth it! Looks alot more up to date IMO. They really are tiny, would love my whole dash blus but would never be brave enough, i really would not know where to begin!!!

Hang on! I've never had a steering lock on my IS either, always looked for one and still do afer 3 years! Lol! Always turning the wheel after ignition is off, key is out but its never locked?

Yeah even though they've tried to make them look trendy nowaday they still look naff! Just put some Brillo pads on the door edges instead!

As people say they're becoming clever, used to be easy to tell, huge antenna's on the roof, missing wheel trims, strobes on corner of bumpers. Now strobes are built in to the lenses no extra aerials etc. Round here i've seen a completely normal looking BMW 5 series in black, a battered old Transit van sitting on the side of the road with top spec Vectra's and Omega's awaiting. Also a Renult Luguna estate in dark blue!! I guess if you're law abiding they shouldn't bother you, but we all like a blast now and agian, i believe you just have to be unlucky to get pulled as how many people stick to the speed limit!

Hello everyone! Didn't want to start a new thread so thought i'd post here! I now have this problem which has just started a few days ago! Hanbrake light stays on all the time, well most of the time. I've checked all the bulbs and all are working fine? What else could it be? Anything to do with brake pad wear etc? It is due for service and MoT next month so don't really want to fork out.

I guess your going to end up paying the £15 plus VAT from Lexus in the end, nearly £70 is expensive for plastic centre caps i agree. I won the ones on ebay to put on my wheels. I needed a set and still saved a bit of money on them. would've ended up going main dealer anyway. Aprt from the Lexus fit i don't know of any universal ones that fit. As for the wheels from bluemackie, I see there are a few more sets on ebay now starting at £250 plus P+P, someone is trying to cash in!

I do have kids 1 with special needs Lexus2D, i didn't say you didn't have children! I was in general saying, that people who take these spaces when they don't have children are just ignorant inconsiderate so and so's!! I have 3 children myself all under 7. But even if you have children it doesn't permit you 2 spaces! As 84Stoney says, your asking for agro!

Know exactly what you mean about the annoying little dents. I've now (finally) trained the Mrs to find a decent space, she used to park anywhere and you will notice the smallest of dents. When i try and show her she can't see them and says well it wasn't my fault! I would also avoid taking up 2 spaces, your likely to get your car damaged for that reason as Paradroid said. Also i cannot stand it when people park in children parking bays and have no children! When you do have children you do need the extra space to get them in. And anyway i've seen kids running their toys over cars next to theirs while they wait to get in! More risk if you ask me. As for getting the dents out i've used Chips Away, very good!

Lol at 84Stoney! Sounds like you had problems with the projector headlights! Think i've read the thread somewhere. Did you fit them in the end?? We were talking about the rears though, noone done original spec tails in LED!?

That would be GREAT LennyLexus, lets track that person down! I attempted to contact several places in the US about the standard lights with LED brakes, tails, signals and reverse lights but as you say all seem to have been and gone! So who on here fancies the challenge of taking the original tail lights apart to make them LED?

I know Folia Tec film is probably crap, but has anyone seen or heard of Chromolux film? Think it looks quite good any of the tinters out there know of anything similar? Just fancy something different to the standard 'black'

I think the ultimate rear lights would be the OEM with LEDs. The US have them, companies retrofit them.

After being together 9 years (yes living in sin) i arranged a long weekend in Paris for our 9 year anniversary. I took with me everything i needed, then one evening drinking in the hotel bar, i told her i needed to get something from the room. I went up and organised everythning, lit candles put into the shape of a heart with the ring in the middle, champagne on ice waiting (i was optimistic) dozen red roses and so on and on and on. I came back down and said i couldn't find what i was looking for, she came up and there it all was, down on one knee i went and that was how i proposed. She loved it but my mates still tease me! lol! Although we're still only engaged as our second then third child came along so we're hoping to be arranging it all in the next couple of years.
