  1. Well done. Total peace of mind for you now. What you gonna do with the old box? Refurbed?
  2. Good on you mate. Anything else that was found out of the ordinary?
  3. That's better than what lexus were saying on the account of guess work. Did you go OEM rad or upgrade with a sperate cooler for the gearbox?
  4. Sorted! What was the final damage and parts list?
  5. But for the sake of the cost and the damage it can do its totally worth getting sorted.
  6. My car is a 2009, so tbh age is also a factor.
  7. 26k not had the issue but nipping it in the bud now.
  8. Exactly my thoughts, hence I'm doing both when it goes in. Then I have total peace of mind.
  9. Interesting. So I've read the tech service manual Re the work for the Rad and it states you should drain the gearbox and refill post rad change. Seems some dealers do it and some don't.
  10. Was the transmission fluid changed too if you know?
  11. Unless you got the last one lol! Did you get yours from the dealer who quoted your work?
  12. So the radiator is out of stock and a provisional date of 15th Sept to come in to stock, that's not confirmed either, may be longer...
  13. All booked in for next month for rad replacement.
  14. I've rang 3 places so far. 2 took a deep breath saying we don't advise touching the gearbox as its sealed for life. If you try to replace the fluid we will not be held responsible for any damage caused to the box. Waiting for the other one to call me back.
  15. Agreed. Thstd was my thoughts. I'm gonna ring around other places for some quotes
  16. I'm confused as I've been advised that I should have the gearbox oil, filter and gasket changed at the same time as this work?
  17. Wow that's a lot! The pump is easy to change once the radiator is off plus its already drained!
  18. This is the thread I created last night: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f-2008-2014/950646-radiator-differences.html#post10871919
  19. So it seems the part number on your paperwork Dan is the updated rad according to the US forum. Comes with the expansion bottle too
  20. I thought they didn't as they always took the strange that it's sealed for life!
  21. Not sure Dan, give Hatfield both and see what they say. Both part numbers I have put in the post are for the ISF.
  22. Very and we will never get a straight answer tbh. If you order the later car one and it doesn't fit you are stuck with it. But I don't see why it shouldn't as the block etc is the same.
  23. Nice one. What do you make of the following part number Re the radiator on the later ISF 16400-38211
  24. Hi Mate, what databases have you referred to?
