  1. Sizes I want after discount I have been quoted £800 fitted all round.
  2. Answers seems to lean towards telling the insurance about the increase in tyre size. It will be classified as a mod. Costco are by far the cheapest for tyres fitted but they refuse to fit.
  3. They still ask make and model of car......
  4. here is the statement from Costco T&C's: http://www.costco.co.uk/view/content/tyreDisclaimer STANDARD TYRE INSTALLATION Costco will only install tyres authorised for a specific vehicle. If you are unsure if your purchase is an authorised fitment, please contact your local Costco tyre centre for assistance.
  5. I have contacted Michelin and they advise that the factory fitted tyre sizes are the only ones listed for the ISF
  6. Just called Sunbury and they have said the same. They will not fit anything other than the recommended size by the manufacturer
  7. I spoke to Chingford and Wembley. Both said the same thing. We will not fit them.
  8. Which Costco did you go to?
  9. Yeah it would be interesting to hear what others have experienced.
  10. Need some help and advice gents. So I've had enough of my OEM Bridgestones and wanted to change to the Michelin PS4s tyres all round. I thought I might as well upgrade the sizes from OEM to 245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears. Got to Costco today after ordering them a few days ago only to be told they refuse to fit them as the are not the manufactures recommended size and it will invalidate your insurance. 1st I've heard something like this as I'm sticking to the correct load and speed rating. Any advice please? You guys who have upgraded the size told your insurance company?
  11. Also the IS range is know for inner tyre wear. It's well documented. Get your car on a Hunter machine for getting it sorted. Kwik fit tracking etc is useless.
  12. Look spot on. Let's meet up as we are just down the road from eachother.
  13. You are local to me if I remember. Let me Pm you my number and maybe we can have a chat on the phone.
  14. As sad as it may sound, have you a close up on how the car sits on the tyres?
  15. Any rubbing on lock at all?? Thinking of ditching my Bridgestone OEM's as I've had enough of them. Looking at the super sports or Ps4s's
  16. What sizes you running Matt?
  17. Not worth the risk in my opinion. They would look for any excuse not to pay out.
  18. Just spoke to Lexus Warranty and they advise it would invalidate the warranty. Can you advise who you spoke to and is your car covered by the Lexus Warranty?
  19. Already have a set.
  20. Good to know lexus will fit them. I will speak to my dealer and get them to fit mine. Been with me for a year now.
  21. Well dealer called me and all booked in. It's not a dash out job I'm told. They can change the airbag in question by the removal of the glove box and knee airbag. That's what the service manager told me.
  22. I have been called up just now and told my parts have been ordered and will be hitting my selected dealership in a few days. They will then arrange a time for the work to be carried out.
