  1. I think you will be in for a very long wait for a second hand one… Re the MOT pass, probably a ‘friendly’ mate at the MOT station who passed it. But the rules are if any warnings they should be recorded. I think you either live with the message that comes up, I wouldn’t or buy brand new if you are not willing to wait. I bought brand new as I wanted the later cluster.
  2. So the person you bought the car from doesn’t have the Japanese cluster still? I think with the cluster you have, you will struggle to pass an MOT. Options you have: Find a second hand UK cluster for the ISF Buy a new ISF cluster from the Dealer. Last time I checked, it was £800 plus, that was way before Covid. Get a Japanese cluster and live with KMPH.
  3. No ISF UK unit has TPMS. As mentioned I have upgraded mine and no TPMS. Have you spoken to the seller to confirm where it’s from and if you can get your money back?
  4. Mine is a UK car. The cluster you have tried to fit is not a UK cluster and more than likely a LHD European cluster. I would try and get it changed for a UK one of you can or your money back, it’s not worth the hassle.
  5. Will be hard unless a UK one is breaking. FYI, I have upgraded mine to the later unit with the larger central rev counter with no issues, mileage was also coded correctly. Every function works and all notifications and warning lights work with no issue. Only thing that is not present is AFS, but as I have the DRL lights that dont have AFS, there is no menu or errors. Later cars with the DRL don’t have AFS.Even fully checked via Techstream post fitting by Lexus and all confirmed working in spec and correct.
  6. Cut off year for what? There are no hoops to jump through. There is no TPMS from factory. Never failed an MOT and all done at main dealer. Mandatory TPMS was 2014 in the UK, before that was optional.
  7. That’s not true. I know someone with a 2013 ISF, one of the very last ones in the UK, no TPMS….
  8. It doesn’t look like a US one. But also it’s not UK as far as I’m aware no UK ISF had TPMS. And if it did, it would have been on the later car with the large central rev counter. I think it’s a European LHD one so you won’t be able to get round that.
  9. And it’s a UK cluster you have fitted for MPH, not a US one? Handy if you can also put a picture of the light that you get when the headlights are on
  10. You sure that’s the TPMS? If there is a TPMS issue then it’s a yellow TPMS symbol.

  13. Hi All, Random question, if someone gets a chance, can you check what date your nav system is reporting at the mo. I’m interested in the non HDD based Navs. Ones with the info button on the bottom left. Mine now reports 2005… not 2024. If you go into the hidden menu of the system, that’s what the GPS date is being reported as.
  14. It’s located under the steering column near the pedals. Get your head under and you will it.
  15. Lexus alarms are rubbish to be honest…. They are just a tick in the box exercise. If you actually look at the schematics of the system, you will see how basic it really is.
  16. I wouldn’t trust a ghost with a barge pole. Ghost is just an immobiliser. Pandora, depending on what you get is a fully customisable system. I can do so much with it, control it from my phone, my watch, also remote start. Further more mine is set that if the tag is not there, the car isn’t opening or starting. Cost is dependent on what you get. I wanted certain things enabled, disabled and added to mine so I wouldn’t use my price as a benchmark. You are best contacting a Pandora dealer and discuss your needs.

  19. You are trying to compare chalk and cheese there. Also it depends if the tyres are of correct spec and on correct pressure. You need to compare with another ISF, not RX, SC and even not another standard IS.
  20. They are incorrect. I know of two, one on this forum that has been stolen via Canbus.
  21. I’m sure there isn’t when I last checked via techstream, hence going down the after market alarm and immobiliser route getting a no tag no start solution

  23. I’m running 245 front and 275 rear, no issues and wouldn’t change
