  1. Dear friends, How are the contents of the boot arranged please? So the toolkit and warning triangle? If anyone has a picture showing the storage arrangement that would be great! Many thanks
  2. Just a question re the battery. I fitted an original Lexus battery. On the left hand side there is a plug that has a clip on the back. Looks like it needs to be fitted somewhere but there is no obvious place? Any ideas please? Many thanks
  3. Where can I buy it from and is it easy to fit? Cheers
  4. I have heard a lot about the VL2 unit. Is it any good?
  5. No the wheels have not been refurbished 🙂 silver is fantastic!

  9. Dear friends, Im going to carry out the oil change, plus filter using original parts on my Lexus. It will be the first time im doing it on this car. Anything i need to look out for? What torque value does the filter housing need to be? The car im assuming needs to be jacked up? Many thanks!
  10. I paid top money for mine. Silver Is250 late 2008 with 25k and FLSH. i actually prefer the pre facelift for some reason. Something a bit old school about it in a good way. id pay top money again because it’s a fantastic car to own and drive.
  11. thanks J what brand/model do you recommend for the fog and high beam please? thanks
  12. Hi guys, I think im going to get the Good year assymetric 3. However the IS250 manual states the following recommended load and speed rating: Front: 225/45/R17 90W Rear: 245/45/R17 95W However i can only find the following Good Years: Goodyear Tyres / Car / Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 - 245/45 R17 95Y FP TL Goodyear Tyres / Car / Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 - 225/45 R17 91Y FP TL The fronts have a slightly higher load, and higher speed rating and the rears have the same load rating but higher speed rating. Is this ok? Many thanks
  13. Its literally brand new. I really could not say no to it. I love it. Already i can see its a great car. Thankyou for your kind words
  14. Will post loads of pics very soon! I promise!
  15. Hi guys, Thought I’d introduce myself. Most recently I’d owned a Jaguar XFS Portfolio 2014 model. A few weeks into ownership I began to notice massive corner cutting in quality, fit and finish. Poor paint, and poor materials. If you looked at it wrong the paint would scratch. The service from the dealer was shocking. Twice in a few months I had to take it in and on both occasions they gave it back to me with damage done to the car! After owning it for 3 months I sold it. Completely over rated brand. I knew then I did not want a German car or another Jaguar. I began looking at Lexus. One popped up with the colour combination I was looking for, silver with black leather. 25k on the clock and FLSH. 2008 SE-L. I love it. I can see the quality and attention to detail everywhere. This is so much appreciated to see. There are things I need to do to get it up to my standard (previous Mercedes concourse winner) and I’m doing that. So far it’s a solid car. Extremely solid with high quality materials. Its wonderful in comparison to the other brands I have had. Thankyou to all those who have helped me so far it’s really appreciated. Zak
  16. Thanks all. I’m looking to stick to a known brand. Good year seems to be the one. my only concern is that the fronts will be asymmetric 5 and the rears asymmetric 3. will this make any difference to the ride and handling?
  17. Thanks J that’s great! Also I’d like to change the fog ones too, would you know what type I’d need for these please? Many thanks again
  18. Lexus parts direct are charging an extortionate amount! Will try Ebay again but when I looked nothing really came up
  19. Hi all, As the title suggests im after the drivers side mirror housing in silver please. Must be intact and not cracked. Cheers
  20. Thanks guys will go for the good years. However for the fronts I can get them in the asymmetric 5 but the rears only come in 245/40/17 but the car takes 245/45/17? Any advice please?
  21. Thanks J again for taking the time to reply! So for comfort and quietness then Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric?
