strange because a single payment of £490 was drawn and you dont say a limit was set, I guess the bank wont look at this in the way you think because the pin was used?

no it was 3 seperate hits totaling £490 over two days. The usual limit of £250 applies the whole senario just dosent ring true to me.

So was pin kept with card? If not who knows the pin number. Should be a process of elimination.

After contacting the bank it seems £490 was withdrawn from her account from cash machine with the pin number 1 hit on sat in lakeside and 3 hits on sunday 2 in lakeside and 1 in bethnal green. Any ideas how this can happen ?

I put 2 + 2 together and get 5

I happen to suspect her boyfriend (who lives not a million miles away and meets her at work in Yep Lakeside )but alas there is no proof yet.

After we contacted the bank we needed to make a report to the police. They reckon it might be on cctv, but who knows.

At first it was the money now i feel it is personal. :tsktsk:

yeah solo is a cheap switch card, usual chip and pin rules apply

Hi need some advice again.

My daughter lost her solo cash card, but didnt notice untill sunday morning. she called the bank and they cancelled the card. Today her new card has turned up off she trots to get some cash out only to find £500 missing.

The thing is the cash went out of the account on saturday night / sunday morning, before the card was reported lost anyone know where she stands on getting the money back.

My opinion is that as the cash was withdrawn before it was reported lost then thats the end of it, or is she limited to x pounds, advice/opinions please.

Hi just had a 60K service on my lex at Lexus Southend £600 .After they hit me with that the cambelt has been damaged by the tensioner, £400 to supply and fit .

When i got up off the floor I went home and checked out Prolex, belt and tensioner £80. :)

Here's the plea can anyone recommend an independent in Essex to fit it.

Tried one guy he said there are special tools needed

have you considered the Vivaro, some very good options

Hi I know there are tons of IT guys out there i need some advice from you.

On saturday i replaced my old faulty BT voyager 2100 wireless router modem with a new repacement model curtesy of PC World. Just a case of pluging it in I thought, however, this is where the fun starts, the base unit powered up and is working fine no more cut outs my pc is on a LAN line and is fine, PC number 2 was due to be on another LAN (after decorating daughters room)so i took advantage of the "downtime" and ran some cable. As a result pc 2 is up and running. The problem is with my laptop as far as i can work out all i need to do is turn it on but it dosent link with the base unit. I am recieving the signal but that is all. the base is finding the laptop, and the laptop knows the base is sending a signal but it wont let me get online.

do you think i need to delete the old unit and reinstall from scratch.

Or something else?

The worse thing is I havent even got a cat to kick.

cheers guys sorry i didnt answer broadband was down again .So i went back to basics reconnected the original freebe modem and hey presto i was back in action :D . after a phone call to pc world took my duff modem back and was given a sparkling new one. On the down side though i now have to reconfigure the wireless network to accept the new base unit . still all good fun and thanks for your advice.

hi guys any one having trouble with tiscali broadband mine cuts out frequently it might just be the modem a bt voyager 2100 adsl. like to know though.

yeah saw that yesterday so i thought a little investigation was needed took the thing out dumped the snail and sprayed with some anti-bacterial spray smells a whole lot better now.

Thought i'd share this with you all. My IS has had a bit of a odour in it for a little while now, smells like farm yard . I thought it was just the time of the year with the farmers spreading the stuff around and all that ,but it got worse, just smelling in the car, when you got out, good air all around. So yesterday i checked on the site about cleaning pollen filters. Just cleaned it out and found the cause of the smell, stuck on top of the filter was a dead snail, just the shell no-one home don't know how it got there.

got my car back today still no solid explanation about caster differences or read outs as machine was not calibrated today as was expected.

did you get a phone call today tony, maybe you can enlighten me .

cant be to far man I live in Essex and took a trip up to tony's it was well worth the trip. A couple of hours later tony performed a few tweeks and even with an unexplaned caster angle that lexus still cant explane the car just feels totally different in a good way.
