Mark @ TDi is your man for induction kit pricing, not sure if he is quite ready yet, I'm sure he'll post here with pictures, prices etc. when available.
I would say that the induction kit is definately worth the money and is worth getting if you can.
my car sometimes has a funny mood where it gets condensation on the front window, air con is on auto, everything normal. to get rid of the problem open the window for about 30 seconds and then its sorts itself out. doesn't do it very often so i've not bothered getting the dealer to have a look but might do if the problem gets worse over the winter.
Fuel consumption actually seems better on the motorway runs although worse in general since you end up playing all the time. Bye, bye Impreza = bye, bye fuel!
I'm looking forward to the congestion charging so the traffic lights will go back to normal timing and the roadworks will disappear. Driving in Central London is terrible at the moment because of all of the traffic.
You do have to be pretty careful in the wet, the car has got a bit of a habit of the rear braking away when its a bit damp - I've had many sideways moments at roundabouts! The traction control is definately worth while - Simon has had some very positive feedback on the racelogic traction control. I will be getting it fitted soon - speak to TDi if you are interested in it, SimonSkippy will be able to give you more information about how it has helped.
The IS has actually held its value very well (assuming correct spec) when compared to many other cars. Not sure of the effect of modifying on value, has anyone sold a modded IS?
