  1. everyone where i work has to sign a form agreeing to waive their rights for the 35 hour work week
  2. i think there may be grounds for a lawsuit against the producers for the emotional and financial harm caused by having a lexus in the show.
  3. Mark @ TDi is your man for induction kit pricing, not sure if he is quite ready yet, I'm sure he'll post here with pictures, prices etc. when available. I would say that the induction kit is definately worth the money and is worth getting if you can.
  4. my car sometimes has a funny mood where it gets condensation on the front window, air con is on auto, everything normal. to get rid of the problem open the window for about 30 seconds and then its sorts itself out. doesn't do it very often so i've not bothered getting the dealer to have a look but might do if the problem gets worse over the winter.
  5. Give us another labour goverment and the NASA fuel will be cheaper than unleaded.
  6. there are some discounts in gold to help as well.
  7. Fuel consumption actually seems better on the motorway runs although worse in general since you end up playing all the time. Bye, bye Impreza = bye, bye fuel!
  8. I'm looking forward to the congestion charging so the traffic lights will go back to normal timing and the roadworks will disappear. Driving in Central London is terrible at the moment because of all of the traffic.
  9. No :( but I want one now, how did you get it?
  10. 30% Trading 70% Software development Hedge fund in the city. 60 - 80 hours / week
  11. I've not driven my car in the wet yet since all the work so could be interesting :D
  12. You do have to be pretty careful in the wet, the car has got a bit of a habit of the rear braking away when its a bit damp - I've had many sideways moments at roundabouts! The traction control is definately worth while - Simon has had some very positive feedback on the racelogic traction control. I will be getting it fitted soon - speak to TDi if you are interested in it, SimonSkippy will be able to give you more information about how it has helped.
  13. Same for me. Its a pretty expensive way to fix a sticky gearbox though :(
  14. The IS has actually held its value very well (assuming correct spec) when compared to many other cars. Not sure of the effect of modifying on value, has anyone sold a modded IS?
  15. I hope that picture is a joke - it looks awful. Should be good for keeping the value up on the current model though.
  16. no way, not going for them! someone on IS300.net wants them! i think they are terrible but funny
  17. i can't wait to see the supra swap if that's the nitrous install!
  18. i can't believe this! http://www.davinwheels.com/videos/autoshow.avi
  19. I'd agree with Simon, the supercharger will transform the car and still leave you some money from the 5000.
  20. I'm 25, 3 years no claims (only been driving since I got the IS back in 1999)
  21. Don't think I'm going to be able to make it this weekend, have to go in to work on both days maybe make it to the NEC next week.
