  1. Thanks Ken, and will do, could only download poor quality web versions before it was taken off the sites, so taster attached... Wonder how many other RX500H owners we have on here then?
  2. I've secured a deal on a RX500H today, as managed to find one in my perfect spec (Black Takumi with red interior and side steps) going for about £5k under anything similar. It wasn't even listed on the Lexus website as a Takumi so glad I went back and looked at the pics once they were up, as saw the ML, digital rearview mirror and pan roof etc... Had a really good amount of equity on my NX450+ especially as they offered £2k over what the Lexus site quoted for PX and not far off the Motorway estimate (I did say I'd be going down that route if their deal didn't hit the mark). Just gotta wait for new V5 to arrive after taking my private plate off the NX and then finalise the deal, but deposit paid and car off the sites now.
  3. Not sure if you have checked out these guys... A member has it installed on a pre 2021 LC and pleased with it... https://www.smart-tuning.co.uk/product-page/lexus-rx-ls-es-nx-is-lc-gs-ct-lx-ux-rc-wireless-apple-carplay-android-auto
  4. My understanding is the same as Nemesis, only function of the 12v battery is to start the car. I had to get Lexus road side assistance out a couple of times for it on my RC, and was advised to replace after the second time as it definitely wasn't holding charge, but once on it was always fine. Same was true even on the occasions when I managed to start it after multiple attempts, as I really didn't want to wait for LRA, aka the AA.
  5. That sounds spot on spec wise, so congratulations. Out of interest, what's it going for roughly?
  6. Yeah, I saw that yesterday also... Thought the convertible one was overpriced at £138k but guess not now!
  7. Yeah, my preference would be Sonic Platinum or a Black Edition. Had an RX in the former and an RC in black but wanted the Black Edition RC when it was released! Not a fan of the chrome trim but think it suits Sonic Titanium and blends well, but much prefer the darkened version on the black edition, which seems to be similar to what's on my current NX450+. Let's see what colour LC I eventually end up with...
  8. Hey mate, how you getting on with this since install? No issues to report? It's game changer for me, and so I'll be looking for an LC now if you're happy with it...
  9. My repaired run flat is still going strong 18 months later so I wouldn't be concerned, and it definitely shouldn't be the reason for you to change them soon.
  10. I'd give NFU Mutual a try also. Have to go direct but was easily the best when I renewed recently...
  11. My list is heavily weighted to one brand, 80/90s hip hop to thank for the early intro... 1996 Renault Clio Maxim 1.4 2003 Lexus IS200 Sport (Styling Kit/Nav) 2006 Lexus IS250 Sport *Bike hiatus* 2002 Lexus IS200 Sport (Styling Kit/Nav) 2007 BMW 320D M Sport 2013 Lexus IS300h F Sport 2016 Lexus RC300h F Sport 2016 Lexus RX450h F Sport 2022 Lexus NX450h+ F Sport Gotta be an LC when I get to retire the family cars...
  12. Yeah, proper annoying as makes 2021s the eventual entry point for me, whenever that may be.
  13. I've had my plate for five years, and it's been on RC, RX, NX so far... LC will be it's next destination, and already dreaming of it back on a coupe after the family cars... Cost the entry £250 and is an old 1998/99 reg, S33 for see and then my initials, so very obscure and cheap, but I love it. The symmetry is pleasing and I like that it disguises the age of the cars... Always wanted C4 SPA and remember it being £4k in the 90s when I started driving! Recently got the Mrs one at £250, new style and even more obscure as family member initials connected with an acronym, but nice little sentimental gift.
  14. If you want a proper fitted one then I'd try Brodit. https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/Lexus/LC Series/2023.htm?steer=rhd That's the bracket and you just need to add the appropriate phone cradle.
  15. Had my first service yesterday which also included the two most recent recalls, and car had been partially reset which meant I had to link the app again. It pushed me to the new app and had same issue as others where the 2FA wouldn't come through, but seemed to resolve itself as all good after closing and reopening app. Definitely looks better...
  16. https://www.evcableshop.co.uk/lexus-nx-450h-charging-cable/ I've been using a 10m one from here as recommended by someone else on this site.
  17. It was the UX and full EVs on test, so thought it was pretty fair, as not their best work or strong point in general at the moment I'd say.
  18. It's crazy how the prices have risen since release. My 450h+ F Sport cost bit under £51k after discounts the dealer had to apply due to fluctuations in used car prices from order to delivery.
  19. Nope, no warning whatsoever. Work from home so been turning off the signal after the morning childminder run, and it simply didn't come back on the morning I was heading out early to the office for a client lunch. Same, was like the RX or anything before it!
  20. Agreed on the poor journey logging! Haven't studied it but see it missed the first journey out this morning, so assume the same throughout... Heating works but I've had scheduled ones fail a couple times, and so needs improving for sure. Biggest annoyance that persists for me is the profile sync login requests - got to the point where I've had to change my Google password manager generated password for something easier!
  21. You can turn that off in the settings. Had to do so due to the kids car seat.
  22. My main key stopped working yesterday and it appears that the battery has died after just 5 months... Very strange, especially as I've been turning off the constant signal when parked up at home. Unlike my previous Lexus, this fob doesn't have a slot for the manual key to go in so you can prise it open, so anyone know how you open these new ones?
