  1. Recently(ish) bought an LS430. Still got my IS300 Sport, however call me stupid but where the hell is the REAR fog light switch??? I have looked high & low and cannot find it. Tried twisting the indicator stalk switch which operates the fronts hoping that it also activated the rears but to no avail. Help needed PLEASE. P.S Happy Christmas To EVERYONE........
  2. I know exactly where your coming from. I bought a set of 18" chrome alloys complete with centre caps and nuts etc. Tried 1 on and it didn't go over the brake caliper. As they were fitted with hub rings they went over the hub. It looked like a tiddly wink!. I took it off and sold the set. Now thinking these original Lexus 18" chrome alloys would fit i started again. The same has happened exept i don't need hub rings as they are an exact fit. As i don't want to keep going through this ordeal i have decided to fit this set. They are brand new with brand new tyres. Original Lexus with Lexus centre caps too. As far as Lexus are concerned they don't supply an after market set of alloys/chromes for my LS430. As this vehicle cost me a lot of money i don't want to mess around with it. Also Lexus inform me that by replacing the wheels for original Lexus chromes ones i don't invalidate the warranty. So i am happy about that at least. In the meantime i have ordered several sets of spacers as i haven't a clue what mm i need? As you have an LS400 do you think/know if they are the same distance as my LS430? When i had an IS200 and fitted 19" alloys to it i had to change the studs for longer ones. My IS300 in currently on EBay. I have replaced it with the LS430. Thanks.......................
  3. I was contemplating buying the 3 that was on offer and yesterday i did. Even though i posted this topic several days ago i suppose my intention was to purchase them anyway. I bought the 3 yesterday and you very kindly provided the information for number 4. I contacted the person selling the individual wheel and made him an offer and he accepted. As i am in Derby(shire) he is in Wales and is going to post it to me. I am told i will receive it in the next few days. As i have my IS300 for sale on EBay i am left with my LS430. These wheels are to be fitted to this vehicle. I have (or will have) 4 wheels, 4 tyres, 20 special nuts and all i now need is 4 wheel spacers as these wheels will NOT clear the brake caliper. This will be my next purchase but i don't know what mm spacers i need. Anyway Keith, Thank you once again. Neal.....
  4. I am not getting any replies to this topic so apart from a Lexus dealer does ANYONE know where i can obtain one from please??? THANK YOU........ Keith you are a life saver. Allbeit it has a mark on it i will go for it. The reason i never spotted it (as i check daily) is the spelling of the word 'chrome' (is this case crome). I.o.u a HUGE favour. THANK YOU VERY much!!!!!!!!

  6. Can anyone please tell me what the tyres are on a 2004 Lexus LS430? Please note that this is the face lift model and has the 18 inch wheels NOT the earlier 17 inch ones. I know that the 17" ones are 255/55/17 but do not know what the 18" ones are. Thanks.......
  7. Wanted URGENTLY. 1 x 18 inch Lexus Grand Prix Chrome Wheel (They are 9 spoked) The part number is PZ439C0670ZR. If anyone can help please get in touch. Wheel has to be BRAND NEW. Thanks............
  8. What Lexus LS model do you have? I have just bought an LS430. I also have an IS300 sport. I must say that apart from the toys the LS is smoother and the ride quality is better. I have just watched the LS460 parking video. VERY impressive. I beleive Mel Gibson has one! Nice to see stars driving Lexus.
  9. Shame he never had a Jaguar! Thanks for your input. If anyone has had a similar problem or can suggest anything ALL is gratefully received.
  10. Try getting a "centre punch" which you hit against the middle of the bolt and then the drill should stay in the middle. You could may be use a strong nail if you cannot get your hands on a centre punch. Stick a photo on and I will ask my engineers for other suggestions (tomorrow). They do this sort of thing on pumps all the time. I should of tried that before i started drilling. Now i have started a small hole next to the snapped off piece of bolt. I am going to attempt to fix it in the morning as i only have about 3 hours to cure the problem as it is being used as a funeral car at 2.30pm. Thank you VERY much for your input. If i had longer i would place a photo but as speed is of the essence i need to sort it asap! The bolt was weak. I have done these many many times before with no problems. I have just bought an Ls430 and saved myself £710 by servicing it myself. Just got to sell my old pride and joy (Is300 FULLY loaded) THANKS once again. I always look at the L.O.C site and scour the forums. I am Lexus mad. I even had my drive made with Lexus written in the block paving! Mad eh????
  11. Serviced a 99T Gs300 and when replacing the spark plug adapter that fits over the plug and bolts to the alluminium cover the bolt snapped, leaving about 2cm in the thread. You cannot get at it and i have tried drilling it but the drill bit slips and is starting a fresh hole next to the bolt bit. Any suggestions please??? I was going to make a bracket and use the hole before which is used to bolt the plastic ht leads down. Incidentally its a 10mm bolt and is about half an inch in length. (well it was before it snapped)!!! ANY help gratefully received. Got to finish off in morning then off to a funeral beleive it or not!?
  12. Thanks again. Its a 53 plate is 300 and it deadlocks if you press lock twice. Microwave sensors activation/de-activation on remote must be for older versions. I've always had a Lexus and i am looking to buy a new/different model so hopefully more gadgets. Mine has plenty (+ extras) but i want more!
  13. I thought so, but thanks for confirming it for me. Typical eh??? Are there any other settings i can change when using my remote?
  14. I have a 53 plate is 300 sport and my friend has just bought a 99 plate gs 300 sport. If he keeps his finger on the lock button ALL windows & sunroof close. If he presses unlock then they ALL open fully & sunroof slides full open. When i do these actions on my remote it doesn't do anything. Does this function work only on the gs? Mine is alot newer you would think that this feature would work on the entire range or certainly on the sport versions. Can anyone clarify that it doen't work on my is 300 sport please? Or can i go to the dealer and have the remotes re-programmed? Microwave sensors are also de-activated. How do i re-activate them? Thanks to EVERYONE....
