Popped into Lexus today for one of the techs to look at the parking sensor and why it was constantly muted.after 10 Minutes he came back and said he just unplugged the connection and reconnected it and it started working! The old IT solution 'switch it off the on again, sort of. but happy days

you normally get it done on services at Lexus(although there is a link on the forum for you to do this yourself which I did its really easy) it is just the operating system update fixing bugs and improvements.It is not a sat nav update this is available on the Lexus portal but lexus charge £££ for this.

They are aware of it only do something when the owner raises it. Believe the issue is a spigot in the assembly that when the flap operates causes the flap to rub on the housing.Rather get it done under warranty than pay for it out of my own pocket at a later stage.

Update...... Got Car Back from Lexus Birmingham yesterday after 8 days and 2 Courtesy cars. No Rattles from dash so far been on bumpy road to test this morning and nothing.But when parking this morning noticed that there was no 'bleep' from the parking assist.checked all the settings, volume at 5, mute off when active so will have to pop back for them to look at it.I suspect that a plug has not been put in or has come loose but before I go back to Lexus with it has anyone got any other thoughts on anything I may have missed? don't want to turn up and look like a right plum if its something I've missed. Had Service on the 26th. car in for the 8th November for a couple of days to sort out creaking noise.The noise is only coming from the driver's side as when we put it into duel mode there was no noise when operating the passenger temperature control.will update after work done.

Every couple of months I sprayed frebreze into the vent just under the windscreen wipers believe this is the air intake for ventilation system seems,run blower on full and spray as much or as little into the vent and allow to circulate for 10 minutes seems to get rid of any smells.

Ive Just Booked Mine in for a service on the 26th at Lexus Birmingham. I've mentioned the creeking from the ventilation system so will see what results from their inspection

Seems a bit steep to me I signed up to a service plan with Lexus Birmingham when I purchased mine for £1086 that was for 3 services and 2 MOT's but they gave me a further discount for my custom of £194 so my plan has cost me £892. I went with it because of the £10 Vehicle Tax per year so the £25 I was Paying for my old Lexus is paying for my servicing and mot's for the next 3 years but I'd see if the other Dealers in your area give you a better deal.

Meguiars perfect clarity glass cleaner for the interior and rainx glass cleaner for the outside(in between rainx rain repellent) with a glass cloth

I believe it is on the left side of the air bag under the instrument panel/steering wheel

I've found that it is worse when it's a very warm day and you move temperature to highest setting the creaking is even louder than doing small increments

Hi Mark, Ive Heard the same creek noise at start up it just thought it was me being picky ( Ive got the Cabin Temp set at 18 degrees) would be interested in your outcome as my car due a service soon. let us know how you got on with it.

Hi all, Can't believe the difference in mpg in the warm weather! normal commute to work. B road to the m42 then m6 then a46 (35 miles) 48mpg normal driving for me between 65 and 70mph. filled up tank yesterday reset computer and today same route ,speed ,etc 58mpg!!!! sometimes I get that and then it drops down to about 48/50mpg but today stayed up there.
