Now to get the monies out of the bank with out the wife noticing - hard as she works there.

The 1G-GTE whole bottom end inc pistons and rods can be used with the 1GFE head I believe. And if this is so it should support well over 350 brake as I've read and heard of a few early Supra's and Soarers with that power.

Only Dave at Prolux can confirm that the 1GFE head will work with the 1G-GTE bottom end.

Is there anywhere in the UK a Turbo Manifold can be got for the 1GFE IS200 engine.

Or do we have to get it from over the pond??

All error codes have suddenly cleared up - looks like the faries fixed it overnight

Actually what I meant is that the all the warning lights ( TRC and ECU ) have gone off and not come back on again.

Will check for the error codes when the reader arrives.

Think its the traction control ECU, where is that hidden within the car??

Both are good brands, TTE use Eibach and we all know that TEIN are good too.

If you can, take a ride in cars with both types of springs fitted and make up your mind.

Hi all, wonder if this has happened to anybody else.

Was on the motorway today and the Traction Control light started to flash continously and the ECU light came on and stayed on. Switching off the engine and restarting did not make a difference, both lights still stayed on. Did not make a difference to the way the car ran, which is faultless.

Any ideas as I just don't know where to begin.

Car is a 2001 IS200 Sport.

Please give me the address from where I can get the Figs inserts for the calipers as this is a mod I would like to carry out.

I'm new here, but I've been doing a lot of reading/research on the IS200 engines.

The 1GFE engine was also in a Supra (1GGTE) with lower compression 8.5 with the std crank & con rods ( forged pistons req) and those easily saw 350 brake with a steel headgasket.

The standard con rods are rated for 400brake easy, so long as the engine is not treated as a TOURING CAR ENGINE.

This engine was also supercharged 1GGZE
