  1. Its ok then to stay with std fuel system and just go bigger on injectors?? and get a standalone ECU to sort it all out sparkystav?? A lot less work - perfect then. Where did you get your injectors from sparkystav?? Heard PowerEnterprise do a set that fits the 1G fuel rail - got any part numbers :D please. Any idea of cost??

  2. Soooo many boosted cars and nobody with ideas.

The std injectors and fuel system is good for 220/230 hp at Toyota's lower fuel pressure.

So fit a uprated high capacity/high flow fuel pump with return line and a fuel pressure regulator with pressure bumped up to 45psi (std fuel pressure on Toyota's is 33psi).

Now thw std injectors should easily be capable of fueling for 300 hp.

  3. As the topic says, what have those of you who ahve gone big power done for fuel requirements??

Fuel pump - use std and disable std relief valve in tank OR fit upraeted unit and use of adjustable fuel pressure regulator??

If adjustable fuel pressure regulator is used, a return fuel line has to be fitted.

Injectors - what cc and where from at real world prices??

Don't think that this has been covered at all.

  4. I used Aerosol from B&Q - Plastikote Bright Red. 18 months on, all they need is washing when the car is washed and they look like new. Got the obligatory 'Lexus' stickers on and are also laquered with Plastikote Clear.

Done the same thing on my ST205 too :winky:

  5. Anybody made their own??

I got an extra std manifold and will use the flanges to make a turbo manifold. Will probably make a log type manifold as I'm not after huge amounts of power - more or less 250 brake at the fly. Will also be using a Nissan S14 Gt28 turbo as they are readily available and not too expensive.

  6. Thanks for that M8. Always worked on 3S engines and the tensioner is sooo different on the 1G. Anyway, all sorted now and the car runs as sweet as a nut - no, sweeter than a nut B)

    Cambelt, tensioner and pulley changed.)

Power steering, alternator & A/C belts changed.

    Oil & oil filter changed.

Induction filter is a performance one, washed, dried and refitted.

    New plugs fitted.

    Pollen filter changed.
