When you say the engine is noisy, I assume you're talking about the higher revs - this is very normal as the engine is running as if "on choke" 'till it warms up. Tony.

Thought I'd better do it... I'm Tony 37, married to Lizz - been together nearly 20 years, married for 13 years. 3 kids: Mathew 11 Connor 9 Curtis 6.............Yeah, 3 boys!!!!!! Live in Cambridgeshire, had my Lexus GS300 SE Mk1 for just over 3 weeks - had a BMW 535i before, but the Lex is soooooo much better! I am a welder/fabricator and own my own business (general welding/fabricating), so if any of you want one-off items making/repairing from m/s, stainless or ally, give me a shout. Tony. :D

No Colin, I havn't tried a breakers... didn't really want the hassle of getting a manky ol' thing through the post, then getting it colour matched... I will deffo join the Gold Club, but think it's probably too late, as I'm fetching the mirror from Lexus Cambridge on Tuesday. Do you know if this branch accept the Gold discount? The guy from the parts dept assured me that the broken mount was definately not available on it's own, so I guess I'll have to beleive him Tony.
