Thanks Adie... they'll need a bit of touching in with the parts that are blistered, but they're still in 95% better condition than my oldies - plus they're 17" Gonna need at least two new tyres - seen the deals with Mytyres in Gold and can get Goodyear F1's for less than £80 each (including delivery) :P Waiting now to hear from the seller to see how far he's willing to travel down to deliver them , works out to be about 250 miles (500 round trip)

I have seen a set of 17" wheels for sale which I believe to have come from a MK2 GS300 (5 spoke) with 235x45x17 tyres fitted. Will they fit my MK1 which has the standard 16's on?

Weyheeyyyyy, another GS owner!!! Welcome to the club! WATLING make a towbar for the GS :winky: What is it you will be towing, as all the manufacturers I've enquired with recommend fitting an oil cooler - but that's with towing a caravan... should be OK with a small trailer though :) -
