  1. Oh right :P So can this be disabled with the key fob on the MK1?... like Austin said, when the kids are left in the car and you don't want it to go off
  2. I found that the trickiest part with the stickers was removing the backing paper without the sticker sticking to the bit you want to take off if you know what I mean :duh: Apart from that very easy: "Warm" the caliper with a heat gun/hair dryer, and give the sticker a quick blast to activate the glue. Offer the sticker up to the caliper and just "dab" one end so you can let go to see if you have aligned it properly (you will be able to see the logo through the paper)... this gives you a chance to remove and re-align if needed :winky: Once happy, remove the last backing tape after you have rubbed the whole of the sticker home. It's also recommended that you paint/spray the stickers with a clear laquer to give them that extra protection and sparkle :D B)
  3. Two Chinese dragons, one on each arm :P Mrs9r has three :o
  4. So does anyone know if Cambridge is any good? Do they do discount? What about Essex?, I've a bruv in Brentwood I could visit, thereby killing two birds with one of the proverbials. SL01 xx ← Hi, welcome to the club :winky: Lexus Cambridge give a max of 10% discount... BUT... I've just ordered some new wheel caps and they only gave me 7.5%!!! Bearing in mind you have to be a Gold member to take advantage of any discounts
  5. Mat, it depends on how far you want to travel, but I've used Peterborough Blasting in the past which is quite a large and well established place :winky:
  6. Thanks boy's :D Me now thinks she needs lowering a tad... oh, and a rear spoiler would finish it off nicely, then the zorsts... geez, I'm well & truly mod-hooked now :duh:
  7. Havn't got the centre caps yet, but still looks good :P
  8. Thanks Mike, I can now see that there is a difference in sizes for them - the ones for the GS's have an outer lip, and the ones for the IS's don't :winky:
  9. When I get some centre's Adie :winky:
  10. Well, I've given up with buying those wheels off matey - still no word from him, and my last mail was returned claiming the address wasn't recognised , so glad I didn't make a payment !:winky: > > > > > > BUT... I found another set exactly the same, and they were re-furbed just 2 months ago (not by Lexus) with two almost new tyres fitted... all for the bargain price of £150 Just fitted them to the car and they look ace , gotta sort out some centre caps though

Dave, first of all my sincere appologies I now have a new steel supplier (lost my last one ), so once I get my credit limit to a reasonable amount (bit of negotiating :winky: ), I can get the ball rolling again ;)
  13. If you read this Chris, I thought you might be the person to ask :winky: Would you know if the centre caps IN THIS TOPIC would fit. I phoned Lexus Peterborough, and he doesn't think they will - say's they have different part numbers? Any help much appreciated :winky:
  14. Could anybody please tell me if THESE centre caps would fit on the MK2 GS 17" 5 spoke alloys?
  15. Congratulations, well done to both of you :winky:
  16. Mmmm... it's been 5 day's since I won the wheels, and I've sent about 6 emails to the seller without any replies :crybaby: I hope it's 'cos he's just gone away for a while Really want them wheels too...
