  1. Tony, just sit down with her and calmly "suggest" that she's been looking at sites not really suitable for her. She will either say " yeh... what of it???" or exclaim "No I aint!!!" You then need to calmly explain how there are way's of you knowing each time these sites are accessed, so there's no hiding from the fact. Maybe/hopefully the sheer embarrasment of her knowing that you know will deter her from the occational sneeky To be honest mate, there's not really a great deal you can do to stop kids these days... mind you, my three were "born to be wild!" :o
  2. Slightly , but is there any way of stopping the emails I get every p*****g day about ***** enlargement, viagra, diploma's, corporation junk etc, etc, etc...?
  3. I'm due for an upgrade too, but I'm torn between the V3 and D600... :duh:
  4. Actually going to China kinda threw it out the window for me... havn't even got a passport
  5. Thanks Steve, yes it's the sport spoiler - without the brake light :)
  6. Very kind of you Bazza/Janey... do you have date/location in mind?
  7. Do I apply changes to C:\ only, or C:\, subfolders & files mate?
  8. Mmmm... new pooter then... I also got a Dell Poweredge which I havn't used, it's got longer green slots with two partitions/notches, what type are they? It has a 1.8 Ghz processor, but is only limited to 256MB RAM - tried a 512MB card, but it still only limits to 256. Is there a way of breaking this limit? The LAMA's good, I got the Twister - no wire :P ← Thanks Derek. So what type slots are they that are in the Dell - the green ones which are longer than the PCi, with two key's/notches? Your Poweredge (which is DELLs Server-end products) WILL take more than 256MB. Thing with their Server range (and certain computer products - the motherboard) is that they generally take different types of RAM. Poweredge servers take self-checking ECC Polarity RAM if i'm not mistaken (as do most servers). If you plan to get more RAM for your Poweredge, look on the DELL website or Kingston perhaps to find out exactly which type of RAM you need, then look on say Ebuyer to make your purchase (as it will be a cheaper than DELL themselves. But yeah, your current PC is being bottlenecked by your processor, and PCI is a bit dated nowadays :-( D. ←
  9. Well I've finally managed to get myself a second hand boot spoiler for the GS. Only prob is I'm not too sure on how far back it sits on the boot. If there's a member out there with a close up pic of their spoiler on the boot, could you please upload it, or send it to me :) , or if you don't have a pic, could you please take a rough measurement from the base of the spoiler to the rounded edge of the boot... both would be great :D Please note this is the MK1 GS, and the spoiler is a genuine Lexus one (without the tail light).
  10. Yes Colin, there are options to turn off smoke, reflections etc which helps with the fps. Really need to upgrade my PC to catch up with the times
  11. Thanks Aido... I'm getting to know a bit more about these pooters now - can of worms
  12. There's your answer pal, the CPU is the bottleneck so you need more speed - once you've upgraded the CPU it should be a bit better :winky: The CPU isn't providing data to the GPU quick enough, this is what I mean about can of worms Ahmet, you upgrade one bit and then another subsystem becomes a bottleneck, it's a constant race to keep up with the latest and greatest. It's so much easier to just stick to an XBox or PS2 or something which has a fixed platform :) :) ← So do you think the Dell would be the better PC to run this on? :)
  13. Ahmet, how do I know if the drivers need updating and where do I get them from... like I said, I really don't know too much about these things
