Your spoilers growing on me a bit, Maybe you should model your efforts on the blue Veilside one here : IS300 bodykit Its got matching mirrors, which I particularly like but cannot trace. I have seen it cheaper somewhere else but can not find it now.

sounds a bit blazay (spelling ??) but fill it up and see what happens. Just in case you are loosing it somewhere you dont want to let it go so low. You need to establish if the level keeps going down. Can you see any pink (assuming its the toyota fluid) dried residue anywhere ?

Should be able to see fluid level inside the white transparent part. Theres a max/min level marker - or may be hot/cold marker. When car is cool open metal lid on rad you should be able to see fluid upto top. You should not see fluid when opening the plastic filler cap.

PONG - reminds me of my first games console -Atari (came with Pong and Space Invaders) Still got mine, and play it every now and then. Heard someone say Dragons Lair has just come out for PC ! Need for speed underground on Game cube is my favourite, but my lads got version 2 on X box which has an IS you can do up.

A few years ago I issued a new Astra to an employee, who returned it a couple of hours later smashed up at the front. He had driven it into the back of someone who had just got their car back from the body shop after someone had driven into the back of it. The company had a seriously bad track record and struggled to get insurance at all, this was our record.

I was suprised it took so long. I studied Toyota, bit boring, but basically customer care is extremely important, just like most Japanese companies, and unlike UK companies and dealers. Unfortunately it doesn't mean you got a replacement yet, but you might very well end up with a spare one !

Got one, used it. definately drys without streaks and spots. Find myself still wanting to polish, or is it caress it ? Think I'll get this meguairs stuff. Says it leaves a wet like look - that would be nice.

Went on a business trip to Beijing for a week in May. After finally braving to open my eyes in thge taxi I spotted two IS's in one day, but that was it. If anyones ever been to Beijing they would know what I mean when I say I would not drive any car let alone my lex there. These guys really are CRA2Y.

They will all steam a bit if its just been driven, but after say a 5 mile drive if one steams so bad you almost lose sight of the wheel, then it will be one of the pistons on the front calipers (asumming its the front) they have two, check out a brakes post within last couple of days. A few of us have had the prioblem with a sticking piston. If brakes are binding you can usually tell on a slight slope you would normally roll on, it doesn't roll. If it goes in on Monday and they say you need a new caliper, tell em no thanks, if your up to it you can free it by levering it back in then someone presses the peda *- lever it in repeat until you can see it sucking back in by itself (about 1mm) when you release the pedal - you should be able to see the other piston operating how the stuck one should. If you not upto it, dont mess with the brakes !!

If it would only make my wheels look like yours - I 'd do it daily - best wheels I've seen

I dont think mine would be so impressed with being hosed down in the drive though
