unfortunately my car is 2001 and lexus only does 3 yrs warranty on paintwork. but its actual paint too, not just laquer.

while washing my car a short time sago have notice that on the roof and also the bonnet it has small areas where the paint seems to be flaking off, doesnt lok like chip damage. has anyone else heard of this happening before?

yeah altezzascott sold those off ebay at end of feb i did notice. never seen full kit on car apart from on scotts website, seen odds and ends on few other places but never all on one car

just done it myself now -
i do r & d on trains, one project is deicing the track. now that stuff defrosts anything maybe could develop it for a car???? lol we use it at work for removing snow from car park. after has been played in several times by everyone. lol
