nope no marking on the card but they are for a battery charge indicator, so would assume they were resistors just a though, do diodes have the same markings as resistors? or would still need 4 bands?

well this one is a bit damaged, i dont fancy taking another out. took me ages to take out under magnifying glass only ever seen 4/5/6 bands on a resistor.

i know how to read them, the problem is though this only has 2 hoops, hence y i am confused.

i have a small reistor, now im not huge on electronics so i can give you a breif description, and see how i can find some it is about 3mm long, diameter of about 1.3mm it is orange with brown then black hoop on it so 10 ohm, but could be wrong i cant do a picture as cant focus on such a small item looked in rs but cant find anything also with it being orange is tat differnet form a beige one?

give lexus GB a call and see what they say, explain it has been a fault for a while, but you didnt know that it was a common problem that is covered under warranty

they should be ok if u give them a call now, tell them only just run out, you may be surprised.

yeah happened to my mum, also she has been clocked on a camera doing 190, this was in a c class merc 180. so i think not! errors do occur

bump it to the top, the err3 message is very common, most get it changed under warranty, which is extended to 5 years, but you will just be out of that, but you can try with your dealer.
