Well that'll be Beemer drivers for you:lol:
-
C-West or a C0West copy I reckon
-
Just the way it should be with Lex on top !

I guess that's part of the nice package of owning a Lexus, I know when coming back to mine at the weekend I was stopped by some tourists from Australia who wanted to talk about the car and were most impressed. Gives you a nice feeling

Hi Pan, Very nice read, thanx for posting it.

Take it for a test drive mate. Two of my friends have A3's one has a TT Quatro and they all want to swap up to the IS after being out in mine, you can tweek the performance but overall it is in a different class.

Rodders, if you find somewhere local let me know, I'm on the lookout too.:tumble:
Will do mate, although if I can't find somewhere today, I'm going to order direct from Origin.
Cheers mate, don't blame you - it's getting to be more like a photography studio on the roads these days and the mobile detectors are a nightmare, there was one sitting on the side of a road in MK yesterday that nearly got me.

Well done Loz. The benefits are well worth the spend, see them in the Gold section.

I stand corrected

Agree, Welcome to the club Aricoro

Not really experienced a problem with mine, the countdown approaching the junction helps telling you how many yards so even when I'm blasting along I have a good idea when to tuen, however having said that it can get confusing if there are two exits very close to one another. My biggest gripe is that there is not facility to request shortest route mixing major and minor routes.

The DVD system is disk that's removable, similar to the VCD system previously, it's simply the reporting code that says drive or hard drive error.
6G's is pretty steep for the change to DVD I think I will opt to stick with the VCD version until I update the car to a newer model.

Nice and the whole family deal too. Must look terrific when everyone comes to visit, you have you're own mini-meet.

That's why I moved to the south, less chance of snow and more chance to enjoy the IS.
Snow day will be declared when it comes though!

Was it green in color to match his envy ??

Hi Rick and welcome to the LOC, The IS300 is a tastey bit of kit, the only downside for me personally is the lack of the six speed manual, I'm sure the engine can be modded just as well as the 200, it's just a bit newer so not so many in the club.

If it is indeed true that this is the approach to painting and baking-in, then I would have thought it was very likely to be the same process on the whole range.
-
This is really interesting, we should write to Lexus about this in the interest of improving the quality for the future.

I'm in !

I think it's just a matter of preference, if you look after the car as most of us do then it will stay looking good, I had the dark interior thought it looked better with the platinum Ice exterior but did like the Oakham on the gold RX that I looked at recently.
-
Did they ever say it was possible to upgrade to DVD and give any proces, I have the VCD version on mine and would love to have the extra storage and facilities of the DVD:P
-
Sounds interesting so long as I'm free I'd be up for it

That said though Oxfords even closer to me so I may change if the discounts aren't forthcoming and go to Oxford for the next service
RX Wheels and Tyre mods
in Modifications & Tuning

Has anyone modified the RX to have larger wheels with some sporty tyres. Seems that the dreaded BMW clan have actually got something right with the X5 where the wheels and tyres look great, always though the RX could also look great if they were enhanced - has anyone done it yet ??
