Anyone looking to insure this year I searched a few comparison sites and got the price down to £545 with Admiral (middle age, clean record). Beware small print, some are now quoting lower but you have to fit one of those black boxes only teenagers had a few years back!

I like Pirelli. Wonder if changing to regular tyres rather than run flats is a good idea on an LC500 V8?

Tracking is probably a Lexus fault, my LC500 (pending) has two recorded MOT fails for shredded inside edges, it's common on the forums too. However, for both Air con' gas and tracking I'd want to see evidence of it before I pay for remedial work!

Just found a Lexus web site listing models and their numbers in the UK from 2017 to 2022. Interesting reading... LC500 Sport+ 188 registered LC500 Sport. 45 LC500h. 58 Figures may not be up to date and there's a few special editions etc but gives an idea how rare these beasts are 🙂

Just put a deposit on an LC500. The seller is getting a spare key from Lexus...£300 plus!!

Drove 150 miles to see a dark blue with tan interior 2018 sport+ today. Tried to keep an open mind but as soon as I saw this car....WOW, it's imposing. When it started...WOW again haha. Salesman drove us up the rd, I had no clue we were doing that speed!! Effortless. We swapped over and within a couple of miles I had the rear end drifting around a couple of roundabouts, the salesman tested those grab handles haha..... Nope, open mind out of the window, deposit down. First impression, this car is huge, silky smooth and RARE. Roll on next week ;-))

We had a brand new 70 reg XC40. Gorgeous car inside and out, drove nice too. But...beware, the 3 cal 1500cc engine is harsh and thirsty and doesn't belong in this type of car!

Thank you 🙂 Having a conflict with heart and head at mo' my Capri costs nothing to keep, £100 insurance, no MOT, no tax.. Head says at least there's remainder of Lexus warranty and I'd get a fair price in say 4 years as it's a rare beast! Halved in value since 2018.

Hi all... I'm Tom and I'm lucky enough to have just moved to Snowdonia, escaped Blackpool 😉 We have a UX250 hybrid, a Vito camper and a 2.81 Capri in the fleet, all very nice. Been watching LC500's for a while now and it's got me hooked!! Going to see a very very nice 2018 sport+ on Friday and have been frantically doing my homework. Fortunately this car comes with the rolling ten year warranty. Couple of questions though... Is a car with 470hp and 0-60 4.7 really slow lol? So many say it is. Are the door handles really prone to failure and can a clean up and wd40 fix 'em? Will setting the tracking to zero degree's straight ahead stop the tyres shredding? (common problem? Here's hoping!!
