  1. Got the emblem in the post today! Looks great. The TRD letters are seperate from each other and so are the stripes. Now do I put it under the IS200 or remove IS200 altogether and put this in its place?
  2. Just got my Brembo kit from Scott over at ASP. Thanks a mill Scott. Cant wait to get these bad boys installed! But first I got to get to get the Calipers powdercoated! Will have pics along the way! Watch this space. GALLA_4
  3. Go with the package Scott over at ASP has!!! He's the guy to sort out your brakes for you!
  4. that was constructive was a genuine question in trying to assertain wether you had any TRD items on your car, as i am unaware of anything about your car ← No problem!
  5. I have a TRD Aero Grill on the front with the TRD Sports badge already, not to mention the TRD air Filter and the TRD oil cap and TRD Spark plugs, ohh and did I mention the TRD spark plug leads and the TRD oil filter? But maybe Bazza is right! I dont have enough TRD stuff on the Car to be able put the badge on the back. May be I need to drive my car through the window of a TRD shop! Then there might be enough TRD stuff on my car for Bazza to give the nod to put the badge on the back!
  6. If your not going to post something constructive... I asked for advice Bazza not contracending comments. Thanks for trying anyway. :)
  7. Just a quick one really for ye all out there! I bought a TRD emblem like the one on Zee007's Altezza. If you go to the garage and search by member you can see the badge on his Altezza like the one I bought. My question is, should I pull off the IS200 badge on my car and put the TRD emblem on in its place? OR Put the TRD emblem directectly underneath the IS200 badge. I dont want to touch any of the other badges on the back, just need to decide what to do with the IS200 bit. If anyone out there has pics of different variations I would be much appreciative! Thanks All GALLA_4
  8. it has been done before,, i recall whilst sitting in Tdi's reception reading a clipping about the very first IS fitted with a s/c and this guy had powder coated his calipers.. ← Whats his name? Address? I'm going to check this out!
  9. Obviously not importannt vehicle docs Mr Morse!!!! Just the insurance disc!
  10. U serious?? So you can carry your insurance details in the glove box if you like? Thaks pretty cool! The GARDAI over here are :tsktsk: when it comes to things like that.
  11. wehey posh or wot :winky: ← You dont have to be Posh to be Privileged LOL Well thats what the TV Ad says
  12. Zee Whats the law over there about displaying Insurance disc and whatever else? I just noticed from the pic that it looks like only a tax disc on the windscreen? Owen
  13. Well I thought about this and I did have ganky yellow Hammerite on there initally, but I have decided to go with a Ferrari Racing Red powdercoat, followed by a clear lacquer powdercoat. Once thats all done, I am going to put the white Lexus decals on there to set them off! I bought the whole brembo kit from Scott aswell, braided lines, drilled and slotted rotors front and rear and new Axxis pads. So I think it should look sweet! I can take pics of how the sand blasting works out too for everyone! GALLA_4
  14. You wouldn't be biased there towards that particular pic Zee would you Looks fantastic though!!!!! Come on Scott get that container on the boat!!!!LOL
  15. Maybe so! But since as I am possibly one of the first members to TRY this (correct me if I'm wrong), I thought that maybe some people might like to see how it goes?? Regards GALLA_4

  19. After many searches and posts about painting calipers and what to use etc and having painted my calipers with Hammerite and not being too happy with it, I decided to do some research on the matter and put my engineering hat on. I have found a company here in Ireland who will strip down the calipers front and rear ie remove pads, pistons and seals and sand blast the whole caliper bringing it back to day one finish. Next after the calipers being sandblasted, the interiors of the calipers are masked off, and they are powder coated a colour of your choice and baked in an oven at 230C . After this they are powder coated with a clear coat paint, and rebuilt! Its the ultimate in caliper protection and aesthetics. I will have pics soon and more details to follow. Regards GALLA_4
  20. You should find plenty of knobs on here mate :D I'm in Dublin. Welcome to club
  21. Made another purchase with Scott over at ASP today. Decided in the end to go for the whole Brembo kit. Drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, Axxis pads, braided lines the works. Will keep ye updated.
  22. Since I still have more than half the can of yellow Hammerite smooth left I think I will go again with that but prep them better! Is there a way to make the Hammerite thinner to apply?
  23. This may sound totally stupid, but would a good degreaser be fairy washing up liquid?
