I have my old springs and am in Ireland.
You could conbine business with pleasure?
You know you need a break to Ireland! LOL
-
Thanks Dave, but as discussed on the phone I think I need to get inventive!!
-
Feck!!
I dont know what to do in that case!
Apexi dont do an adaptor for my induction pipe!
Since the adaptor is alloy it will have to slide in the inside of the induction pipe and I think the smallest adaptor they do has an outer diameter of 70mm but my induction pipe has a inner diameter of 60mm.
My induction pipe is silicone and I am thinking would the old washing up liquid trick work???
Anyone know if Apexi do smaller adaptor flanges?

Are you just talking about the filter piece itself like you can see below?
Because I am on about the universal adaptor the would attach to the filter head above.

Guys
I am about to order my Apexi Power intake filter but I need one with a flange for my induction pipe.
The outer diameter of my induction pipe is 70mm and internal diameter is 60mm.
I have found the Apexi 500-A027 which has a flange with an internal diameter of 70mm, so I am hoping that it will slide over my induction pipe tightly.
What I wanted to know is, are the flanges that come with the Apeix Power Intake universal filters rubber or stiff plastic or what?
Thanks guys!

Sickening! This car was something special!
I'll always remember it from your little JAE video from last year Mike!
You did well to walk away! Chin up and this should only serve to spur you on to bigger, better, faster things!

Hi all. I've got a great 1993 LS 400. Relatively low miles and very well maintained. I do as much myself as I can. But this one has got me stumped. If you've seen this I'd like to hear what you found out.
Here's what happens. After the car is started and I step on the brake pedal, the indicator for a light bulb burnt out comes on in the dash, but also the R light comes on at the same time. From then on the indicator for burnt out bulb stays on but the R light only comes on when I step on the brake pedal, when I let up on the brake pedal the R light goes off also. Is it telling me that my back up lights are burnt out? That's the only thing I can think of other than some bigger electronic problem.
I sure hope someone has experience with this one.. Thanks..
This may sound totally THICK, but have you actually gotten someone to stand behind the back of the car and see if all your brake likes are working when you apply your foot on the brake?
Could be a good place to start the troubleshooting process!!!

Hi Guys,
I am just registering here now cos i have a 99' Altezza RS200 TURBO. Its a nice clean car and i hope you like it and there is some more on this website like it?
Its a HKS kit that was developed around the same time as the D1 Altezza that Taniguchi is driving now and make sthe car a hell of a lot of fun to own and drive.
According to this: http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?f...ar&carid=414469
You have it for sale and it was just added to the site today. Mmmmm

I have the Blitz Nur Spec and here is what I noticed.
Sound:
Its a little bit louder than the OEM exhaust but nothing major unlike a HKS hiper. It gives a nice "Hummm" when you accelerate and its in no way intrusive at motorway speeds! which is a bonus!
Torque:
Theres abit more low end torque over the standard exhaust but nothing earth shattering. You will notice it though!
Aesthetics:
Its a lovely looking exhaust and the tailpip is much wider than the OEM one. It finishes off the back off my car no end! The quality of the build it there to see aswell.
In short if you want something better than your OEM but dont want to p!ss your neighbours off go Blitz! Cant comment on the Apexi except I think cyborgguy on here had one on his Altezza for a while. You could PM him and ask him about the Apexi.

How about a black and decker, set on hammer action, loaded with a tugsten carbide tipped drilll bit straight through the knee caps while they watch your new bonnet getting resprayed?
Just a thought! :)

Bazza is that the Apexi filter you are running with?
I need to order mine soon.

I thought the colour code was on the VIN plate?? Not contained in the actual VIN number itself?
