  1. Pic looks like you've got a sport grille, so are you going to paint the mesh on that silver too, or leave that black? Best if they're both the same I guess :) ← Its not on the car yet! Profile pic was taken weeks ago and thats pre Legana purchase
  2. Hi Guys/Gals I have bought a Legana bumper and I am having it painted Astral black. My question is should I leave the mesh the silverish colour or paint it black aswell? Does anyone have any silver mesh grill pics on an IS200? or better still a legana bumper without the mesh areas painted? Thanks Guys/Gals GALLA_4
  3. Not listening to you guys anymore! This forum is dangerous! Took the TRC off today while in traffic, let the car ahead of me go on a good bit and then floored it! Feck I didn't know my Lex could accelerate like that I nearly went up the arse of a Focus! There was that lovely tire squeel though the one that makes you go :D
  4. Everytime I talk to Scott over at ASP, another bit gets lobbed onto the car! He's really giving the old Mastercard a good pasting! LOL
  5. How did you know I ring those 1800 numbers? Ok then the game is up! My name is Owen Abromovich! There happy now!
  6. All my feckin money seems to go to ASP these days lol! I am buying a Blitz Nur Spec from Scott and the Legana bumper and the fogs and the SARD rear wing ohh and the brembo kit! So timing is bad at the moment Anees! I'm goona have to sell a kidney soon to cover the cost of mods!
  7. Hi Mate The rotors are direct replacements for the OEM rotors! A plug and play! well kinda! I am using the original calipers on the car but I upgraded the pads to AXXIS pads and also braided brake lines and performance brake fluid. I paid GBP£550 for the rotors+pads+brake lines. They are available here: www.altezzasportsandprestige.com Hope this helps. I will have pics of them on the car once everything here is sorted with the calipers! GALLA_4
  8. Hi Guys I would like to get comments and pics from those in the club who have the Blitz Nur Spec exhaust on their IS200. I need to know stuff like characteristics of the exhaust etc I have a really good offer on the table Thanks guys! GALLA_4 Pics Articles Mpegs Most Welcome :)
  9. Confuse her! Tell her the tone emitted by the exhaust sineusoidally is shifted 180 degrees to that of the tone sineusoidal frequency emited by the engine. Thus having a cancelling out effect of all noise. Then when you get it on the car, start saying things like: "Wow I can hear you more clearly! Its so quiet! Now I can hear your beautiful voice as you give me directions! and tell me I am going the wrong way" Failing that get the exhaust and check out this website www.russianbrides.com :D GALLA_4
  10. i'd powdercoat them for longevity. I am in the process of doing mine at the moment. I just need to give em a few more coats of cler lacquer and Bobs your uncle :D Jobs a goodin!
  11. Hi All I saw this on Ebay last night. K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake Its for an IS300 but is it possible that this would also be compatible with the IS200? Anyone have any experience with this particular product? Thanks GALLA_4
  12. Well this will put things into perspective Mr Morse! You thought you had problems.... I was just filling up the windscreen water resovoir!!!!
  13. None taken Mr Singh! I love the banter on here! Its actually not that bad! The problem is my camera is too good! Had the Macro lense on and shows up everything! Surfce on them is actually quiet smooth!
  14. So you said already Mr Singh! Well if and when you do yours, you can remove all the pits you like :) I'm delighted with them and how they turned out.
  15. Well after alot of feedback on the calipers from my previous post I have gone with the general consensus and applied the white LEXUS decals. I am very pleased with how they look now! Thanks Guys for all the feedback good and bad! It makes decision making easier! HERES SOME I MADE EARLIER.... I THINK THEY LOOK THE DOGS B******S!
  16. I'm a laaaaaaaaady don't you know .......... :D ← Ohh right! Thanks for sharing that with us here on LOC !

  18. Yeah well maybe you guys are right! I have a set of white decals here at the moment! I could put them on! Haven't decided!
  19. I have decided not to go with the Lexus caliper decals but instead I ordered and have these Brembo Stencils. I am getting them airbrushed on tomorrow
  20. The whole lot cost me €150!!! A family friend owns a fairly large industrial engineering firm over here! If you can show me where to get a Brembo Big Brake Kit for €150 then let me know LOL :D The stock Calipers on the IS I have been informed are more than adequate and are far superior to most other manufacturers. If it aint broke dont fix! And plus the Legana bumper and SARD rear arch wing are not long eating into the old budget!!!
  21. Yep Daza there is a limit to what you can powdecoat! In powder coating, the powdered paint may be applied by either of two techniques. (a)The item is lowered into a fluidised bed of the powder, which may or may not be electrostatically charged or (b)The powdered paint is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the part. The part is then placed in an oven and the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film. Obviously you couldn't powdercoat something that would melt at the baking stage ie plastic
