Guys I have recently had my dreaded Err3 stereo replaced by Lexus under warrenty. I now have the brand new replacement stereo with the CD slot at the top. I have the six speaker system or S model IS200. My question is: Could my stereo be put into an IS Sport model with the AMP and 8 speaker setup? Is the only difference between th 6 speaker setup and the 8 speaker setup the AMP? Or are they different headunits too? If it helps here are pics of my stereo that maybe somebody could compare with that of an IS200 Sport stereo HELP

I recon that would look great in any car, but maybe get some blue leds for the instruments etc? ← Is it a hard job to change the instruments to blue?

Made my decision! Heard it today at the audio shop and it literally blew me away! All the Alpines look the same!! If your gonna be spending this amount of money may aswell be different! Ye think it will look good in the IS200 dash?

Hycote makes it and its called Hight Temp Engine paint for metal and plastic. It will stand up to 650 degrees celcius. The guy at the shop said if I manage to get the Engine bay that hot, chances are the Fire Brigade will be there too LOL

Gunk spray? I will be cleaning all the other bits at weekend if thats what you mean Mr Morse lol :) Prepping all those bits took most of the day!

Will be tarting it up more with some graphics and TRD oil and radiator caps.

Maybe its some kind of really sick modification? Putting dead animals in your car! Or worse still Maybe your car is "bugged" :D

Guys Is there an in dash screen you can get with a Radio tuner built into it? I want to put a MAC Mini Computer in the glovebox but I will need the tuner to get FM radio! Also I need to be able to hook up the car speakers! HELP

I can get the MAC Mini's and Ipods for really good prices as my brother is an Apple Mac Authorised Dealer!!

I thought you had your stock calipers powdercoated and it was only Brembo pads and rotors you were putting on? ← I got a spare set of calipers off an RS200 to powdercoat from Scott at ASP, so I could still drive my car while the work was being carried out. Otherwise I would have been without the motor for 3 weeks between sandblasting and powdercoating. So I will be taking off my current calipers to put the powdercoated ones on! Hope that cleared things up ← Sand blasting €100 Powdercoating €80 Stripping calipers ie remove pistons and seals DIY jobby GALLA, how much would I be looking at to get mine done? ←
