  1. As I said to Chris(TheDon) above, it dont take much to answer your business phone or reply to an email. Its poor form! If its not their policy to keep their customers updated or to answer their phone well then they shouldn't have an email address for order status inquiries or telephone number on their website, since what use are they! Rant over.
  2. Postal strike aside Chris, It dont take much to pick up a phone or reply to an email.
  3. Guys This is just a quick heads up for anyone out there who may be thinking of ordering a number plate from www.fancyplates.com I ordered a new front number plate for my car there on the 08/11/2005 and to date I have not recieved a single thing. Not even an email! It has been 15 days now without any correspondance. All I have is a receipt from WorldPay and a debit from my credit card. All this even after me sending them three emails quereying my order status. I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to ring them and the phone just rings and rings and rings. The transaction was carried out by WorldPay and to be honest I really could not be bothered chasing them up over this as they will give me the line that "we only handle the transaction end of things. You'll have to contact the retailer" Albeit was only GBP£20 for the plate, its the principal that matters! If you cant offer a service dont advertise it! Anyone else any crap service experiences with this outfit? I would advise against anyone on LOC to using this "company" for number plates!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
  4. You melted them in the oven didn't you! :P
  5. Guys Does anyone who has the TTE Supercharger Kit know where to grt the TUV certificate with it? I have looked on TTE's website and cant find it there.
  6. Does the CamCon unit utilise the OBD-II port or does it involve splice into wires in the ECU?
  7. Whats the most direct way through the firewall for the boost gauge tubing? I am thinking this shorter the tuble length you use the better???
  8. Guys I thought this might be helpful and I hope it is correct!!!. The pipe I have highlisted in red is the bottom of the two pipes. This pipe is the one to be tapped into for SC boost gauge install. Rob I have used your pic you sent me earlier on, so I hope you dont mind. The "red" pipe can be seen from different angles in these pics below:
  9. Easier said than done because the pipe is well stuck on the brass inlet pipe? Would a hairdryer on it for a minute expand the pipe abit and make it easier to pull off?
  10. Rob you know that brass inlet pipe in that pic of you post above, is it possible to disconnect the original tube connected to it like whats shown in your picture, as it would be a hell of alot easier to install t-section with pipe length exposed.
  11. Yeah well boost isn't everything!!! Its what you do with the boost you got that counts lol I'll take my .3bar thank you very much!
  12. Feck you took out the whole engine to fit the T section !!!! :P :P Thanks Rob!!!
  13. Has anyone a picture of this so called "bottom pipe" that you T into? Also do you come through the firewall behind the battery with the rubber hosing? ie does the battery need to come out? Cheers guys Owen
  14. Thanks Matt!!! Ohh and Happy 99th birthday! lol
  15. Hi Guys/Gals Quick question regarding hood struts! Would the hood strut kit from an IS300 work with an IS200?? Heres the pic of the IS300 kit below. MAybe someone can look at this and compare it to their own.
  16. Is there a product out there that you DONT need a carputer to be able to view data from the OBDII port on a headunit screen? Like a box that one end plugs intot he OBDII port near your right knee under dash and the other wire from the "box" plugs into the video in of the headunit screen.
  17. Out of interest I rang HKS USA and they told me that they had discontinued the CAMP system and it was the same case in Japan also. The woman told me that the CAMP system involved splicing of wires directly inside the ECU box and did not use the OBDII port as I had previously thought. She said you can still pick them up second hand. Ohh well.
  18. Ahhh I see! I'd prefer to have a all in one system as with the DVD funtiona nd radio funtion of the headunit I wouldn't really need a Carputer. I just was looking for an all in one OBDII system that would just use the headunit screen for displaying data!
  19. Do you have to be running an OS in the car like a carputer type of effect before any of these systems will work? Does this "HKS CAMP" system need to run via an OS? Windows XP etc??
