yea I'll bite the bullet and get the new TPMS sensors, probably the ones that Notamech has recommended if it means saving £100 for the same thing. Glad to hear you've had a great experience with Lexus MK, they did offer me the collect & deliver service, a courtesy car or to just drop me off & pick me up from the local shopping centre so I might just drop it off and take a trip round the shopping centre 😄 Ty for this, I'll definitely get it sorted before the MOT runs out but would like to get it through its major service first and keep some money aside incase any issues arise during the service that need sorting. I'll grab a pack of these genuine sensors from Ebay seems like a great deal and our mobile tyre fitter mentioned he could replace them to save a few pennies

thats the one! seems a little wasteful and slightly annoying when a full set of sensors is gna set me back £200 from the look of it + whatever fitting comes to. Compared to a couple of packs of batteries for a tenner + fitment. Its not really an issue just 1 extra light on the dash, so I'll get the big 10 year service out the way first then sort them out after.

Exactly this! thinking up random road trips and meeting up with folks more often now that I have a car that I can trust to get me about (hopefully!). The guy that changed the tyres did mention the batteries might be on their way out, its 10 years old and has just over 40,000 miles on the clock. So if they've never been changed it makes sense. I've been on the phone with Lexus today and going to get it booked in for its major 10 year service, They sound like great folks and a big step up from the usual horror stories I hear about dealers. So I'll ask them about some new TPMS sensors or replacing the batteries on my current ones when I'm there.

I did not, I was recommended a mobile fitter that fits the tyres on our vans at work and quite a few of the employee vehicles and as he was linked to Black Circles there was a decent discount / sale specifically on the Bridgestone Turanza's that I needed to have all round matching, Seemed like a great plan at the time.

Picked up my 2014 IS300H about a month ago, Always been a fan of more luxurious saloon cars but never really found myself drawn to the German manufacturers. After a few months of scrolling through Autotrader / Ebay / review pages & youtube videos I settled on the IS300H, So far I've been really enjoying it, it ticks all the boxes and has given me confidence and a want to actually go for casual drives in the sun or evening cruises without worrying about breaking down or fuel economy or various other issues that previous cars had. So far I've not done anything to it beyond getting a fresh pair of front tyres to match the rear which has unfortunately thrown up a TPMS warning light, the tyre guy returned and checked it over but couldn't find a fault and we've tried the button below the steering wheel so I dunno. Gotta book in for a service anyway so will ask about it when I'm there. No biggy Hoping to do a few little bits to make it look a little more mine over time, mostly just window tints & chrome delete but we'll see. Also need to source either a leather repair shop or a breaker for a new arm rest as mine came with a small rip in it Hopefully won't have to scroll through the trouble shooting sections too often but will be sure to look around for possible inspiration and ideas for any small tweaks or easy wins that can improve the car or overall quality of the drive.
