    Kaya Welcome to the forum This sounds unusual.....what happens when you try to use the mechanic key.? As a quick fix for your documents.....if you open the armrest in the middle of the rear seats, you can pull down a metal flap and get access to the boot....but you will only be able to get your arm in...might work if you had one of those litter pickers....

    Tony The drain on the battery from a battery monitor is very small.....somewhere in the region of 1.5mA.....providing you check it regularly, (once a week.?) I think it is a useful addition. With luck, someone from the forum may give you the maths in relation to how long it will take to affect the battery.

    Michael Sorry I can't advise on your pictures and no-one else is replying If it were my car, the next stop would be to book a hybrid check with your lexus dealer.....I think they cost in the region of £90. That would give you a good idea of any problem, and might give the battery a year's warranty if all is good or repaired.....although I understand this is depends on the age/milage if the car Good luck and let us know how it turns out.....

    Hi mickw322 All i can suggest is checking what faults the car is showing, via your local mechanic, or failing that your local Lexus dealer. When did the car last pass the lexus battery test.? You could try reposting in the Lexus Audio/Video/Electronics/Security forum...perhaps someone there could be of assistance.....

    Are you sure your RX has heated mirrors...? Are you sure they are not working..? Have you read the relevant part in the manual..? It would be a pity to book the car into a Lexus garage only to discover that there was a setting you had missed...
