  1. Is it possible to check the daskcam plug end with a multimeter..?
  2. You are doing fine Lexus do a stand-alone hybrid test (I think it costs around £90) which would give you peace of mind in relation to the check hybrid light.......a successful test then gives your hybrid battery a year's warranty - although I see it states it is for vehicles 'up to 15 years old', so you may want to book it in soon...replacement hybrid batteries are an expensive item, so if it were me, I would get a check.... See here: https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/servicing-mot-hybrid-health-check
  3. Looks like a cold engine on a cold day.....I would expect it to disappear once the car has got up to temperature unless the weather is below freezing....
  4. Some useful info here:
  5. There is a lot to learn about.....I find myself going back to the manuals again and again.....if you haven't already, consider putting both manuals on your phone, or better still (for my poor eyesight) a tablet....then you can sit in the car and poke at buttons all day long....
  6. If you warm it up using the app, the car stays locked.....so no need to leave the house until the car has heated up. I believe it automatically switches off after twenty minutes
  7. another vote for Samsung.....just buy from a reliable seller.....a lot of cards are fakes, advertised with much bigger capacity than they actually have
  8. Why not give it a try...? You'll get an interchangeable selection of navigation programmes (with your speedo in the corner) all your phone contacts (voice activated calling) and music from your phone (if you wanted)
  9. I think that is a design feature to 'help' drivers stay below the limit
  10. Do you mean at the bottom of the navigation map..? I think that a speed reading appears if you use Waze or MagicEarth as you navigation map in Android Auto .... probably in AirPlay as well
  11. There was a recent thread which suggested that oil levels should be checked when the engine was up to operating temperature......
  12. I let mine charge in the garage in ready mode (garage door open) car doors closed, key on seat. I don't believe the car will lock the doors in this situation
  13. I can recommend this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JLX9J15/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just check that any charger you buy is compatible with your battery. I think lexus mostly use an agm type Not sure than a solar charger would provide enough charge in the short (and occasionally.! dull) days in your part of the country
  14. I'm glad you said that......using the data from my monitor, I have concluded that my 12v charges twice as fast in ready mode/park as it would if I was driving....thought it was just a quirk of my car or perhaps my advancing age.....😱
  15. It shows that when a 12v fails to start a car, the SoC must be extremely low, and why when owners subsequently say they then 'drove for an hour to recharge the battery' it doesn't come close to doing so
