  1. I'm in the process of importing one from Japan, should be ready to collect within the next few weeks. I posted some photos to a thread a few months back. And yes, as others have said, it's a 3.5mm jack - located in the center storage compartment; I usually use CD's myself - but it does work well.
  2. For Sale: 2006 Lexus IS250 Sport - Manual 55 Plate - Lower VED Band (£415 per year) MOT Valid Until 19th March 2025 Current Mileage: 109,915 Miles (will likely reach 110,000 by POS) Item Condition: Used Good exterior condition with some age related blemishes. Good, clean, interior. Price: £1750 Extra Info: Purchased August 2022, full service history + receipts from myself and the previous owner. Serviced each year at a local Toyota/Lexus specialist under my ownership. High spec model - Navigation Pack (Mark Levinson, Reverse Camera etc.) - Newest Nav DVD (2018) 4 Matching Continental All Season Contact Tyres all round - fitted April 2023. New battery fitted December 2022. New clutch fitted just prior to my purchase. Stainless steel backbox + exhaust tips - all OEM cats are still in place. K&N Cold Air Intake Negatives: Air Con doesn't work. Gearbox can be a little bit notchy going into 3rd. Inner Sill Corrosion advisories on previous MOT. Brakes can be noisy on light application. Car is priced lower to account for this; still drives really well regardless and always starts on the button. Contact Details: 07502505320 Location: South Wales (NP20) Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: Happy to deliver, within reason, so long as transport costs are paid for. Pictures:
  3. It's just a cosmetic difference for the F - 2009 and onwards; 2008 cars had the Silver fascia. That car has the earliest infotainment system with the DVD based navigation. It won't have Bluetooth or USB - just CD (+MP3 CD) and AUX. Later models had HDD based navigation which is a bit of a pain nowadays as it's pretty much impossible to update the maps as Lexus won't do it anymore as far as I know - so there's definitely a benefit to having the DVD system.
  4. Strange, perhaps someone couldn't afford it after all - or thought they could flip it for a profit?
  5. First facelift in a while just got listed on Autotrader: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202410315795922 No photos yet, but might be one to keep an eye on. I think it's a bit expensive at the moment, but with a bit off the price could be a nice car. For reference, as you've mentioned importing, I'm in the process with TorqueGT myself. It's a 2012, Mercury Grey, Option Wheels on just over 50k Miles - gonna be about £19,500 or so. So you can definitely get a cleaner, higher spec, lower mileage car for less money if you're willing to import; just be mindful of the resale value a few years down the line of course.
  6. "+ Birmingham" got a good chuckle out of me:
  7. Facelifts are very rare in the UK, there's only one other for sale at the moment, a 2013 car for £29k - which is too much imo (and it has a white interior, so not for you) I've gone the import route as facelifts are far more common in Japan and generally a bit cheaper for a much cleaner car; there are obvious downsides to imports though, so it really depends on you as to whether you think it's worth looking into. For me, personally, it definitely is.
  8. I've got an IS-F on the way from Japan, can't wait. Hoping to get a GS F one day, can't get insured on one at the moment though - so the IS-F will be a stopgap until then.
  9. Yeah, Torque will do it for you as part of the process.
  10. It's really simple actually, it's just a replacement fascia, it doesn't change anything else: https://lockwoodinternational.co.uk/product/lexus-isf-mph-dial-part-no-c1654/ So all the original electronic elements remain the same as they were - in KM, in Japanese You can't do this on the pre-facelifts because they've got the fancy original dials.
  11. The speedo I'm having updated to MPH. There's an easy replacement available for the facelift cars. With the pre-facelifts I don't think there's any way to convert to MPH aside from buying an entirely new speedo, which is obviously very expensive. The odometer I'm just keeping as KM, as I don't think there's any way to change that.
  12. I've definitely got the technical experience to do it, I build / repair PC's and game consoles as a hobby so I shouldn't have any problems. I think more than anything else it probably comes down to time / money / can I be bothered Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
  13. Lovely car, hope you enjoy. I've still never seen one in person, looks like the people of Kent are lucky to have two about
  14. The top spec LBX starts at £40,555, and the GR Yaris starts at £44,250 I can't see it being cheaper than either of these. I desperately want this thing to be sold here - with the 6MT.
  15. Thanks Do you know if I'd be able to take the black fascia off my IS-F and attach it to the new head unit? CD Player included, or are they permanently attached? If this is possible - I've also noticed that the button position is flipped on JDM cars (e.g. on UK cars Climate and Audio are on the driver's side, whereas on JDM they're on the passenger side) - do you know if this would cause any problems or not? (i.e. would it say climate but actually bring up the map when pushed etc.)
