  1. A great help Bob, thank you. Is it accessed from inside the boot space?
  2. Just chasing my cause of battery drainage and checked the price of the rechargeable siren 7.2v battery pack in case it is the cause. Ebay £16 Lexus £276.84 I ordered a new Yuasa YBX3096 from batterycharged co uk and as noted above £82 incl delivery, so a bargain. I am also looking into the solar sensor as it too may be an issue. I have codes 21 & 24 on the A/C which both point to it. My binnacle lights are very low compared to the A/C unit and although the rheostat/variable resistor works, I don't believe it is correct. It is difficult to read the speedo in daylight. Cursory searches on youtube suggest much work behind the dash, so not rushing at that job yet...
  3. When I bought my SC, this issue existed. I did what you have with the paperclip. After all my issues were fixed by ToyotaTech, Guildford in 35 minutes, he reset my "Yaw sensor" in the software, and I've had no further recurrence. Can anyone explain how lambda sensors affect VSC?
  4. I'm working in Ireland over the show dates sadly. I'm going to take the SC just for fun as I have a couple of days off between jobs in Ballyliffin and Dublin...
  5. Haha.. Thought that on the Volvo thread
  6. Strange recent MOT history on this one... March 2018 - Passed with 88.3k, but not tested again for 22 months July 2019 - Passed with 92.5k. The main banner states MOT expired on 25 January 2021, so an out of sequence MOT taken in January 2020, 6 months early, with 27k miles added between July 2019 and Jan 2021, before being parked up. Auction ends in a couple of hours, 31 bids, currently at £1650
  7. Nice blue one on Ebay, High Wycombe, 120k, currently £225 but needs resurrection... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276486045724
  8. If you have inadvertently selected TA on the radio, the aerial stays up to listen out for any Traffic Announcement pips.
  9. Its obvious now. One of my all time favourite classics. Simon Templars old steed regenerated.
  10. Thanks Neil. Looks like I'll need the complete tray...
  11. With the rear cushion out for leather work, this is the ongoing issue of water ingress! It seems with the roof up during rain, pressure on the sill rubbers isn't made, allowing water into the seat well and the rear quarter panel. The rotating arm is sheared about 30cm from the connection which looks to have fractured. It is difficult to tell what it is made from. The Amayama site does appear to list these parts (I think)... 12. MOT history suggests it has covered 27k since its last MOT in June 2019. Needs exhaust. High Wycombe, Currently £1061 with 28 hours to run on the auction. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276448288109
  13. Do the wing mirrors fold in Jamie? The wing mirrors do an awful lot more than I was aware of. If you have your rear view mirror set to auto mode, the wing mirrors also darken to avoid headlamp glare from behind. If you have the rear window defog enabled they heat up to clear moisture. This also happens when you have your wipers running at temperatures less than 25*C / 77*F
  14. Was there any further outcome with this replacement, as I have exactly the same issue?
