Thanks, not there in mine, just the two under the wireless charging tray and the two passenger ones - they're just for charging and not data transfer. I think it may be hidden somewhere just for the dealers to use? No mention of it in the user manual.

(NX450h+ 2023) Thanks, there is an update available for the maps (Spring 2024) which I have successfully downloaded and transferred to the USB. If plugged into the console (via the USB interface under the wireless charging tray) it doesn't want to update the software from there. Is there another port the dealers use to plug the USB into that is hidden somewhere?

That’s the Navigation Settings, we’re talking about the vehicle software with this issue. It’s under Settings/Software update. Under Model Info it shows what version you are on. I’m on 2050, so the same version before and after the issue has been resolved.

Siri wasn't following the expected commands, sending rubbish to recipients and not reading back before sending. Everything is now fine and I did nothing at my end with iPhone or Car to fix it, unless the simple turn the multi-media system off and on with the button depress did some sort of reset to fix it?

Yes, mine is working fine now. Did you try turning off the multimedia with long press of the volume button on the console, then restarting it again? Think someone posted this as a potential fix on another thread?

Has to be the simplest software fix, but it's ridiculous to be this far out!

I rang the dealer yesterday, the service manager said Lexus are working on a fix and we should in a few weeks whether it neede an over the air update or not. Randomly thought I'd try to send a text message through Siri today and it worked perfectly (whilst driving). Then tried the same but via WhatsApp this evening (not driving) and that also worked perfectly. Recipient confirmed received as intended. Checked software version and it's still showing a v. 2.50. So nothing physical has changed, they must have made changes at the Lexus back-end? Be interested to see if this is a permanent fix and if others find their issues now resolved?

Mine only does that when using Lexus Navigation, but not when using Waze. I haven't tried Google Maps yet to see if that works in the HUD?

I went to the dealer today. Checked it over and said they'd had several people in with the same and similar issues, but only Lexus models, not Toyota. They believe the last "over the air " update from Lexus has somehow corrupted the Multimedia system - but not affecting every vehicle and not always the same fault - some had Navigation issues as an example. It's been escalated to Lexus to release a fix and they have promised to ring me once a fix is ready and either have me back in to install it, or advise if it can be done over the air. Will update as and when I get it resolved.

Thanks for this. I read all the posts on that forum and the linked apple discussion threads within it. Looks like a definite IOS bug, so I guess I and many others will be waiting for release that will fix this. Most frustrating.

Thanks, it doesn't work (for me) with Message. (Messenger isn't a CarPlay option) It reads WhatsApp and Message perfectly however. Pretty odd?
