  1. For me it is all about the rear seats!
  2. Hey everyone, So I have did my best to replicate the photo of my old 2004 SC 430 with this 2024 LC 500 convertible. I hope you Lexus fans appreciate the side by side design. 🙂
  3. That is the exact same LM that I drove for my YouTube channel! Same plate 😄
  4. Over 200 LM's have been sold in the UK so far, so hope that helps
  5. Do you know, at first I thought it was very expensive. However a S class with the 2 first class style chairs are much more expensive. In the rear the LM is much more impressive than any other Lexus (or car) that I have been. I loved the rear blinds, the table and all the comforts back there. Driving wise it drove closer to a van than NX. Interestingly they have sold the first 18 months allocation of LM in the UK, it has been quite popular apparently. I would say it is for chauffeur companies. If you want a further look, I did make a video of this LM for my YouTube channel, CarsofGlasgow. Any other questions, just ask and I will do my best to answer.
  6. Hey everyone, Toyota UK invited me out to drive the new Lexus LM 350h Takumi. I can honestly say it is the most expensive Lexus that I have drive (more than any of LC), coming in at over £113k. The LM feels like a private jet for the road. The rear cabin is where all the attention is, 2 luxurious seats that feel akin to a first class plane seat than something in an automobile. There is a huge 48" screen for the rear passengers to enjoy, as well as shades that close at a touch of a button. Plenty of phone chargers, 3 pin UK sockets and mood lighting to accompany the fridge (and wishful thinking champagne that should be in it). Up front it does feel more van like, you sit up high like in a Transit. There is no heads up display however you are treated with a blend of soft materials and copper piping. The technology is pretty much the same as you would find in a Lexus NX 350h. The main feature difference is a special rear passenger button that can help reduce dive under braking and acceleration. I will attach some photos to this post for you all to enjoy. If anyone wants to see my video on the LM, feel free to check it out on CarsofGlasgow YouTube channel.
  7. Hey everyone, I wanted to share this stunning Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series, 5.0L V8. Here are some photos that I took. Enjoy, Thomas
  8. Sorry to hear about this 🫤
  9. This is the rear end of the new Prius PHEV, Excel trim so it gets these cool wheels.
  10. Hey everyone, I test drove the new Toyota Prius PHEV, apparently only available as a plugin hybrid now. The one I drove was in Excel trim (top spec for Prius) in Scarlet Flare paint, which is listed just over £40k. I like the little Easter Eggs that Toyota have scattered throughout the car (inside and out). It drove pretty smoothly and the infotainment screen is pretty much the same as what you will get in the current NX etc. I did appreciate the physical buttons for things like cooled seats etc. I also love the new look, what do you all think about it? PS it was very wet here in Scotland the day I drove it, so apologies the car is soaking and the skies are grey!
  11. Hey everyone/ LC UK owners, I have seen a few more LC's on the FB groups (in the UK) also experiencing the blistering on the front wings. I was wondering if any more of you fellow LC owners on here are having this paint issue?
  12. Not a bad shout, I went down the ceramic coating route for my lc
  13. It is hard to see due to the lining.
  14. Great topic, my car is going to Lexus Glasgow to be examined as both of my front wings are showing signs of corrosion (at different areas). To echo what has been said before, I have never owned a car with as bad corrosion, my old 2004 sc430 had very little rust or bubbles regardless of all its paint chips.
  15. If anyone wishes to see our IS 300h, I made a video on the car and it is on YouTube. Channel is called RevLexus.
  16. Any other options would have been nice, even if they offered it when the 2020 facelift came out too
  17. I agree, just look at the SC 430 and how those values are.
  18. Hey everyone, Time is flying by as my mother has owned her IS 300h for just over 5 years now. She previously had a 2019 black 'Premium' before opting for this sonic titanium 2014 Premier. (switch was due to job change and no longer having a company car, so she bought the next one as a private buyer). The car is almost 10 years old now and the main reason that I wanted to create this post was to A) showcase the reliability of the car and B) highlight the 10 year Lexus warranty. I will start off with (A), the IS has been pretty reliable and has cost her the servicing, MOT's, a set of tyres and the only expensive item were the brake pads and discs (from memory £1500 or something). Mechanically the car is great, the body is starting to show its age and mileage (just under 80k miles now). The Lexus warranty is great and I never knew how extensive it was until the car needed a new AC unit and that was covered!! The IS also required a new horn too, so all in that last visit cost over £860 and the warranty took care of it. I do wish that Lexus would bring more cars to the UK as there is nothing rear wheel drive nor compact and car shaped for UK roads available. (wouldn't say no to the IS 500). I look forward to hearing some of your Lexus Warranty stories.
  19. Here are some additional photos of the two LC's at Crossbasket. (taken June 2024)
  20. Hey Lexus family, Lexus Glasgow recently invited me to their drive event at Crossbasket Castle Hotel. It was a great opportunity to be around the LBX and new UX 300h! They brought along their LC 500 black edition (aka inspiration series/bespoke build). I parked beside it upfront and it was a great opportunity to have a hybrid and the V8 side by side. I will note that out with seeing a green LC at the dealership last year, I haven't seen another LC in Scotland whilst being in my LC (even to grab a pic). If you had to choose, are you going for an all black V8 or a white launch edition (with the tri colour interior) - promise not to get offended if you don't choose my car. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy these Lexus LC pics and if you owners have any recent LC pics of your own rides. Please feel free to share below as I love seeing the various colour combinations on our cars! Thanks, Thomas CarsofGlasgow
  21. I have seen a handful in my life, a person in my neighbourhood has actually recently purchased a 2024 Model LC in sonic titanium. I am yet to see another LC whilst I am in my LC (in the wild)
  22. very nice, I just watched this tonight
  23. I like his stuff too! I actually watched his previous LC video and Savage Geese so many times!
  24. Savage Geese do great videos, have you also seen 'Shooting Cars'? Zac is out in the MidWest of the States and gets the same press cars. He reviewed the same LC 500 cabrio recently too.
