  1. Hi Did you mean to type 10 mm rather than 10 cm? 10 mm would be fine from the maximum but 10 cm would be below the minimum mark.
  2. When you start slandering a specific business by saying 'most likely to be counterfeit', that is not acceptable. As mentioned, P4H are an established business with over 19,000 sales and 99.9 % positive feedback. If their products were indeed, as you say, 'likely to be counterfeit' wouldn't that have been discovered by now? Perhaps you should only voice your opinion of specific eBay sellers if you have direct experience of them? As you mention, forums are full of opinions, some are logical, some are not . . .
  3. May I suggest that a moderator remove this post as there are is no evidence to support this claim and nonsense remarks like this can potentially harm a business. The seller P4H, who is referenced by the OP, has a 99.9% positive feedback score with over 19,000 sales. I have personally used them and they provided a good service with genuine parts.
  4. Or use screenwash?
  5. Hi Yes, I have a space saver in mine. I bought it used from eBay for £30 and a scissor jack for £10. The jack sits inside the wheel. My UX is FWD, I think the all wheel drive version has a little less space in the boot. Regards

  7. How do you find the range on your UX300e? My next car will possibly be electric too but I would prefer one with a good range for the job I do. Regards
  8. Hi Maybe not as good as paint but have you looked into vinyl wrapping? I've seen some cars fully wrapped and it does look good when done well. You might be able to just have the roof covered in vinyl?
  9. I was in touch with my local dealer recently (Carlisle) regarding having a tracker to be fitted. They have told me that they are not yet in a position to fit trackers as their technicians need to do training courses on how to fit a tracker first. It would be interesting if the Lexus technicians are the ones fitting the trackers or if they are fitted by an independent contractor.
  10. I think this is correct. I bought a used space saver wheel and jack and keep them in the boot in the space underneath the main loading area. I'm not using tyre foam, I'd always prefer to have a spare wheel / tyre. Hope you like your new car, I have an F Sport too, same colour as yours.
  11. The clue is in the filter 'con'. £87 for a filter that costs Lexus a few £ and takes 5 minutes to change . . . . not exactly value for money. Held to ransom to maintain the warranty. Changing air filters only at 4 years on a high performance car doesn't exactly sound right but Lexus in their wisdom deem this to be acceptable. Seeing as how air filters are relatively inexpensive to buy, I would replace them myself after 2 years.
  12. Have you read the consumer rights act 2015? The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to ask for a full refund in the first 30 days after buying any product that proves to be faulty, including a new or used car. The law also provides protection for servicing and repair work that renders your car faulty.
  13. Personally I leave it when I can feel there is slight contact, as long as there is no brake bind once you put the road wheel back on. The way I would suggest is fit the new disc and then adjust the wheel until you feel the brake shoes lock against the disc then adjust the wheel back until the disc is free to rotate.
  14. The wheel should be turned all the way to the beginning to allow the old disc to be removed easily. After you fit the new disc you will need to adjust the wheel so that the brake shoes are making just the slightest of contact with the disc. Do you have a new set of brake shoes or just discs and pads? The shoes may be ok but after 100k miles, I'd be tempted to replace these as well since you will have the disc off.
