  1. Morning, one of the responses does correctly note that the NX do have the ability to isolate and turn off the rear seat reminder (once done.. its done.. no need to repeat each time) Whilst I;m not totally sure if the LBX is running the sale MultiMedia unit I'd be surprised if it wasn't. Regardless.. it drove me nuts too, so this has got to be worth a try: Home Screen/ Cog widget on left hand banner Settings/Vehicle customise/Utility/Rear Seat Reminder/Select either on/off. 2. Over 2 NX’s I’ve seen a Premier spec (not Prem Plus) top out at 66, without AC (and once achieved 64 of that.. with a tail wind) then now my current FSport topping out at 59 but difficult to get anywhere near 50.. Both a Premier Plus spec and FSport have the wider larger wheel with a lower profile, so that has no immediate impact and usually with a heavy sunroof.. hence the combination of a Heavy car with greater resistance. Doesn’t sound like it’d make too much difference on paper but it does.. The other aspect is that the predicted range is based upon the last accum 10 journeys and is forever rolling. If your daily use mainly consists of higher speeds it’ll predict based upon that without the balanced opportunity to capture urban with natural regen in traffic opportunities. tbh, if you predict 50 and get mid 40’s from a charge or 14.3kWh (real world 13.5kWh) then that’s a great place to be and most likely translates to around 3.3m kWh which for a heavy awd car is excellent.. However…. If we all lived in a country with an all year round balmy temp that never got any higher than 25 but never lower than 16 then we’d all be getting very different numbers…
  3. To add an alternate tariff and view then I’m with British Gas, EV driver, at 7.9p off peak/ 25.5p peak With a beta smart charge discount (this enables British Gas to also manage the grid even on the off peak) which essentially brings it down to around 4p kWH between midnight to 5am. I have an alfen box linked to hive. The NX pulls down around 14.4kWh for a full charge, takes no more than 2.5hrs (max) and gives me a range in the mid 50’s. It costs loss than 60p to get this full charge. Essentially just over 1p per mile. I do 400miles per week and charge at each and every opportunity to top up or manage overall combined performance. Typical charge example from this week..
  4. I personally top up every other day, no hard rules, but it simply drives and responds better with the battery having a decent useable EV range. As we move towards winter it’d be good practice to keep in at the higher end of its capacity, as Ken notes EV range tumbles in the cold (as do all PHEV/BEV) And let’s be honest.. it’s significantly cheaper driving in EV than hybrid only so why wouldn’t you…? Enjoy.. the NX is a superb car and a wise choice..
  5. Ahh.. ok… yep, the kWh is reporting from my Hive App, it’s directly linked to my wall box and captures all kWh pulled Down. Pretty straightforward but also summarises monthly’s and ytd inc £‘s and averages etc..
  6. Morning, It’s a combination of using Lexus Link+ and actually resetting performance in the car on the 1st of every month then monitoring. Each and every journey polls and match from both app to car. I used to just leave it but I’m interested in seeing the impact of seasonal changes now.. just to check is it the mpg/range or the charging data your referring too? thanks
  7. No, British Gas Ev driver tariff but its linked to a hive beta smart charge offer, essentially if you enable “smart charge” you allow the grid usage to determine how long to charge based on peaks (even though it’s 12am-5am) once you’ve fully charged up they then credit back around half of your charge.. just plug and walk away.. nothing else to do.. in the 3 months I’ve been opted in it only ever takes about 2hrs 20mins to charge at a rate of 14.2kWh as average and the credits always land post decoupling Great offer tbh..
  8. Put the car into reverse (engine on etc) mirrors will auto drop. Stay in reverse and then adjust just one of them up to your desired angle (either the left or right) the back into P or N. Leave engine on (or ready mode) When you then select Reverse again it’ll have remembered your last position..
  9. July figures: 1406 miles covered. Achieved combined 83.7mpg 3.6m per kWh Now up to 58.1 on full charge, achieving early 50’s in full EV At home charged: 139kWh over the month. cost: £5.89 (4p per kWh, off peak) so essentially that generated 450-500ish EV miles (not including HEV) On average a gallon in fuel is around £6.40? You’d get what? 40ish miles in a conventional car? No comparison is it… (understatement…)
  10. Hi, also in an F-Sport, ran a 450h+ premium before this and the performance was marked (much improved) due to smaller wheels, less weight etc.. that one managed to capture a charge/range of 65 and i’d regularly get late 50’s to early 60’’s.. incredible really. However the F-Sport looks great so I’m sure i’ll manage😉.. As far as driving then I always kick off in EV and let it run out then over to HV. I genuinely can’t work out if there’s any really difference in selecting auto EV/HV as in most cases I’m setting off to distance etc. Because it’s just so cheap to charge I always select EV, no brainer.. 1.5p per mile versus 12p per on HV. Hence use the EV first.. Excellent that you have a years worth of free EV..!! That’s fantastic. I’m year 3 with my hive box and no issues to Speak of. Home charge for me always.. We’re also running a Toyota bZ (Fwd) and that doing really well.. tend to get 240ish mile per charge and it’s running at 3.9kWh which is excellent tbh. Just urban though and the odd trip. It’s so accurate that we’re only charging it once a month. It believe it or not that costs about £2.60..!! Honestly… can’t make it up can you?
  11. So, 6 months in now, just under 8k.. traction started at 38 now up to 55 as a full charge. Resetting monthly and now achieving 3.4mile per kWh. Lots of motorway driving so happy with this return. I anticipate that as we move towards warmer months now it’ll creep up towards late 50’s. Decent performance all round now. for May covered over 1200 miles, 750+ of which was in EV (61%) As a result combined mpg for May: 101.7mpg. Typical charge of up to 14.8kWh, on a decent off peak tariff (7.9p kWh) so costing £1.15 ish for a full charge.. also able to take advantage of a Hive smart charge offer which credits back half of the cost based on off peak grid availability. As such I’m charging at around 4p per kWh. Cheap motoring..!! Just over a 1p per mile on EV. All Reset for June now
  12. Going to try something a bit different as far as tracking.. range is on the climb like most are reporting. Currently at 48/44.5 (started with 40/38 on delivery in dec) now reseting history every month to allow for more realistic performance against kWh and mpg. February in screen shot, every week has seen at least a 150m+ trip (non stop) twice a week, so challenging to absolutely influence mpg over this distance on the back of EV compensating. but… tracking at 65+mpg over 1.3k with miles per kWh climbing to 2.9. Should start to see 70mpg+ return and climbing over 3m per kWh Real world though? I’m only putting in £35 of fuel each time for a 310ish mile trip. EV cost is literally at 80p over the 85miles I’m getting based on a charge both ways. I charge at home on the outbound (own cost) charge at office for the return (no cost, yes lucky I know..) I’m On an off peak tariff with British Gas and Hive at 9.5p per kWh alongside a new beta incentive to allow the charge to be longer of the full off peak window to support low grid usage.. This reduces the tariff to 5p per kWh hence £0.80p for 48miles. Incredible..!! So, at the moment it’s already running at 8.6p per Mile combined.. far cheaper than a hybrid and would absolutely wipe the floor with a similar sized diesel SUV.
  13. Hi Ken, I’m in a F-Sport Prem Plus, previously in a Premium. Differences: Ride, lower profiles and larger rims has a marked affect on handling and urban driving. Feels very surefooted on more open roads of course.. economy is compromised though as a result of Rim/profiles. Big difference in seats too. Very firm but still comfortable. You feel very much planted.. I’m continuing to do long journeys and they’re still comfy but not to the same extent as the prem though. As you’d anticipate no discernible difference in actual performance, very similar. If anything the prem felt quicker.. but that’d be due to the slightly lower weight in the main I’m only 2months in but have already covered 2.8k. Winter too of course.. looks great though tbh… so I’ll cope with the reduced economy Pete
  14. First month down against ownership.. and range steadily climbing, in spite of cold temps. Started with 40.8, now at 46.0 four weeks later. AC climbing slowly, real world performance more around mid 30’s. Bodes well though if I’m seeing steady increases at this time of year
  15. Have just taken delivery of a replacement NX, previous recorded 13500miles and averaged out at 3.6m per.. and 96mpg.. that being said I took delivery in April, so perfect time to start as far as seasons and steady increasing temps. Current NX now just under 1000 Showing 2.7m per and 68mpg (couple of long trips in already) be interesting to see how it fairs up towards similar mileage/performance. I’d suggest it’ll struggle to achieve similar based upon taking delivery in Dec as its start point
