NX 2023 delivery date
HGUS replied to Chance521's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I'm still on the 'ORDER IN PROGRESS' although my dealer says I can expect mine in mid November. Ummmmmm, I'd like to believe BUT ....... 🤔 -
Mine still says order processing and I've been waiting since early August. This is pretty much all it says on my app ....

Door Handle Lights - somewhat mean?
HGUS replied to MarcG's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I agree, that's a little mean! 🤨 My NX300h has the lights on both front and rear doors. Sorry about the picture quality and not a great angle. It's a Takumi so maybe I got that little bit extra (a couple more LEDs). Hope everything else is good though! 😀 -
When I first saw this I thought ummmm, a posh Vellfire. £110K+, think I'll give it a miss. Not saying that it doesn't look nice but .....

OMG !!! After the 5 millionth go I've done it. WOW, that took some time! If it helps anyone else this is what I did on the Lexus App's 'VERIFY CAR' screen: 1) 6-7 digit Version Code: I got this from the '4. Vehicle details' section of my V5C. I entered the first 6 digits from 'D.2 - Version' 2) Date of acquisition: I got this from the '4. Vehicle details' section of my V5C. I entered the date from 'B - Date of first registration' I had entered the above a number of times over a number of days but my persistence has finally paid off and this time it accepted what I entered without giving me any error messages. I can now view my vehicles' Service History' on the Lexus App. Phew 🤓

Hi Ron, My App version is 4.18.0 (30183). I've never had another version and actually only installed the app recently, after seeing details about it on this forum and a very brief mention of it at my Lexus garage. I haven't done much with the App other than enter my current Lexus into 'MY GARAGE'. The first thing I've attempted to do is look at its 'Service History' and I am stuck. There doesn't appear to be much on the App for me to look at!

Many thanks for your comments guys. I've been with Octopus for a number of years and they have served me well. However, I am prepared to move on if necessary subject to cheap tariffs and getting the flexibility/ease of use that I want. Ohme is also on my list to consider. I've still got sometime as no vehicle delivery date yet, in fact still at the 'Order being processed' stage.

I would like to look at the Service History of my Lexus via the Lexus App. In the App I'm presented with a 'VERIFY CAR' screen and I have to enter a 6-7 digit version code and a date of acquisition which it says are located on the V5C document. I've got the V5C and am looking at the 'Vehicle details' section. I presume that the 'Date of Acquisition' on the App is the 'Date of first registration' on the V5C. I've entered that date. There is a 'Version' number in the 'Vehicle details' section but it's a lot longer than the 6-7 digits the Lexus App is after. I've tried entering the first 6 digits of the number and the last 6 digits of the number. Then clicked on <CONFIRM> It goes into 'Verifying Ownership' then .... I just get the message: "An error occurred, please try again later". I've tried again later a few times and the same error message comes up each time. Whether or not I am looking at the correct part of the V5C I can't be sure. The details I am entering maybe incorrect, I just don't know. If anyone has any experience of this and could help or maybe be more specific about what I should be entering it would be much appreciated.

I may well be using a 3 pin, it all depends on which comes first the Lexus or the Charger. 🐔/🥚 Will probably be using a 3 pin at other locations as well.

Many thanks for the info and link Colin.

Thank you very much for your info John.

Thanks Colin, I was only taking Octopus into consideration as I'm already with them and thought it would be a good place to start to see what they have to offer. On the Octopus website it shows the following: With ref to your comment, not sure that I fully understand. I'm in the process of getting an RX450h+. Are you saying that I may have issues if I were to switch to Intelligent Octopus?

Many thanks for your comments guys. It does appear that Zappi are very popular, well at least on this Forum. Glad to hear that there's been no major problems with them and good customer service. Could it be that slow software updates might be down to WiFi? Anyway, slow software updates wouldn't necessarily be a show stopper for me.

My current energy supplier is Octopus, has anyone had any experience getting an EV Charger via them?
-
Many thanks Shahpor, that's useful to know. I guess problems do occasionally occur, that's life!, but as long as they are rectified quickly and don't keep re-occurring that's good. Glad to hear that you've not had any further issues. Thanks Paul, happy to hear that yours is working fine. Another positive for Zappi. Thanks for the link Chris. I have had a look at a number of comparisons but haven't yet made any decisions. Just trying to gauge what people use on here and how they have performed. More like trying to get from a number of horses mouths in the real world. I'll put Hypervolt down as another positive for consideration.

Thanks rayaans. Other than the locking solenoid have you experienced any other niggles or things that you wished it has/does that it hasn't/doesn't? Do you run it off solar panels or just the standard mains electric?

Haven't a clue, there seems to be so many out there. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations please? Anything I should watch out for? Pros/Cons?

Was in Nagoya today so popped into Midland Square
HGUS replied to HGUS's topic in Lexus General Discussions
Midland Square isn't really a dealership showroom as such but nevertheless the staff were very attentive and helpful. Aside from the above dealerships in Japan, in my experience, are a h@ll of a lot more curtious and customer orientated then what you come across in the UK. You've definitely got to get yourself to Japan, you won't be disappointed. 😀 -

I agree, the Crown does look a little Renault-ish but I liked it, found it very comfortable and improved a great deal from the old, but good, boxy shape of yesteryear. Yes, I had a play in the new Prius and found it a great improvement on past versions but still, personally, not really one for my bucket list. -

Many, many more Toyotas on show but just chose the ones I liked. No NX, RX or LC this time. They were displayed earlier this year. Seem to be changed every so often. Last piccie an Osatsu Butter, care of Starbucks 😋 😄
