  1. 32 miles for a max of 14Kwh (full charge) = 2.3 m/Kwh. Assume you pay standard rate of about 26p/Kwh = 11.3p/mile Assume 45 MPG (obviously varies on mix of driving) Cost of gallon = £1.50x4.5 (litres) = £6.75/gallon Cost per mile =6.75/45 which = 15p/mile So with an all year average of for, arguaments sake, 3 m/Kwh (will probably be higher than this) cost per mile would be 8.7p/mile. Petrol would need to be 87p/Litre at current prices to match elecricity. Even with the increase in electric prices in January (5%) we are a long way from petrol being the fuel of choice for our PHEV's. Hope I have those figures right!
  2. The battery only lasted 12 months? Is that to be expected?
  3. That Profile sync message is a true PITA as it appears at any time and when you cancel it , just returns a few minutes later until you are able to go through the login process. I have no idea why this happens so erratically but I assume it's down to the Lexus servers again?
  4. Unfortunately Malcolm there is no Lexus Link+ manual. There doesn't appear to be any further information than that you can find in the android/apple respective app stores in the 'about this app' section. I found that the app overrode my 'open doors on shift to park' too. It seems that we just have to live and learn as we use the app, which has a habit of doing unexpected and frustrating things from time to time.
  5. Ken, do you happen to know the recall/campaign ID?
  6. Has the car not been used very much recently Jon?
  7. OK guys excuse me if I jinx it, but I have just been out in the car and the issue has not reoccurred over a couple of stops and starts. 🤞
  8. There's a battery heater and cooler on board which whilst taking some power itself must have some positive effect on the efficiency of the traction battery. Regardless of that the miles/kWh certainly takes a dive south at the moment.
  9. Guys....happening on my NX 450h+ as well. It appears each time I start the car and I have to re-enable it. The message says Geolocation Sharing disabled by outside network settings so maybe from the Lexus Connected servers? It's a PITA so would be pleased to find out how to overcome it. Colin
  10. So.....I've discovered that in Vehicle Customisations Settings (Door Locking Functions) on main screen, if I have Auto Lock doors when shift from P set to on, then the doors do not auto open when coming to a stop. If that setting is off then the doors lock as soon as you drive away and auto open when pulling up to a stop. There is a setting to unlock when shift to P which I have on. It seems that speed sensitive door locking/unlocking is enabled when I disable the Lock doors when shift from P. Confused?.....I certainly am and I haven't changed these settings for months. Anyway I'm happy to have disabled the speed sensitive auto unlocking even if I don't know why things suddenly changed. p.s.....Gary check that you have the Unlock when Shift to P setting on
  11. You're absolutely right. I think Lexus may have done a software OTA update which has changed this functionality without the associated setting. I was hoping someone else had seen the same behaviour.
  12. Not recently but the settings for unlock doors on selecting P(ark) are unchanged.
  13. Still seeing 54 with a/c and about 3.1 m/kwh
  14. Yes can see those but there's no reference to being able to change any speed sensitive lock/unlock setting. Previous to today my doors stayed locked when stopping in traffic etc...today they unlock each time I stop automatically even though the car is still in D(rive) .
  15. The fact that the setting changed without my intervention today might suggest an OTA update? Anyone else seen the change?
  16. Can't find any reference to it in the owners manual online or hardcopy
  17. Can anyone tell me where the controls are for setting the speed sensitive door locking/unlocking please? My NX 450 has always automatically locked the doors after mnoving away (not sure what speed but pretty low). Auto unlocking always happened when I stopped and shifted to P (I know where that setting is). Today the doors automatically unlocked when pulling to a stop whilst still in Drive (which I don't want). I don't know why this change has occurred but I would like to change it back. Any ideas please? Thanks
  18. David....see my edit above. I assume you have the 14 inch navi system which does have embedded mapping so you should have the "Map Update" option referred to in my previous post.
  19. Thought I'd tag a couple of questions on the end of this thread. My NX450h has the 9.8 inch multimedia and navigation system. I can't for the life of me find the map data version. In the manual it says settings>navigation>map update. However there is no map update option on that screen selection. On the my Lexus portal in the eStore purchased app section it says I have Mapcare Lexus (1/31/2023 - 1/31/2030) Active I may well be being dumb but would appreciate any advice how to check current map data and if necessary update. I do use Android Auto but my wife uses the Lexus Satnav so I do want to keep it updated. Thanks in advance Update: Ignore me....just realised my navi system does not hold the map data, which is accessed dynamically from Tom Tom servers, hence no update is required.
  20. https://support.toyota.com/s/article/Can-a-conventional-hy-7666?language=en_US#:~:text=No.-,Though a hybrid vehicle can operate in electric-only mode, the tank at all times. Beware running out of fuel
  21. I have the same issue
  22. The last two charges have been 53.9 with A/C on. Actuals are around 40 but that's running low speed short local trips.
  23. I just keep a short usb a to usb c cable plugged in....easy and quicker to charge.....and readies Android Auto etc
  24. I believe it's Lexus Europe who are responsible for the App, so one would expect the same issues across the continent.
