  1. I had it a couple of times yesterday and once a few weeks ago. Pretty sure it's down to Lexus server issues.
  2. Hi Which recall was it?
  3. Are you using Octopus Agile to achieve that rate?
  4. https://www.whatcar.com/news/best-steering-wheel-locks/n26807
  5. I think that only activates when the car is in reverse
  6. The 12v battery is charged by the hybrid system and not the ICE
  7. Ronnie....have you experienced any 12v battery issues since you installed the DB2?
  8. From the HIve website.... "If you have a large home, or have your Hive devices spread far apart, they may struggle to maintain a good connection with each other and your Hive Hub. But a Hive Signal Booster will boost the signal so everything stays connected. Note: a Hive Bulb or Hive Plug will also boost the signal between your Hive devices." Actually they no longer sell the extender so one would have to have a hive plug or bulb to do the extending.
  9. Ken, I may well be wrong but I have the HIve EV charger (Alfen Eve S-Line) which was installed 2 years ago. I have the HIve app (have Hive Smart CH Thermostats). I believe that Hive heating communicates with the hub and thermostats via Zigbee. The hub itself connects to the internet router to communicate with the Hive servers. I also believed Zigbee is used for my EV charger to communicate with the HIve hub too. I had those EV offline issues for many months too but it seems to have resolved itself. I always thought the offline problem was because Zigbee comms were intermittently failing. I stand to be corrected. Colin
  10. I have been away for the past 10 days with the car left on the drive. I charged the 12v battery to 12.6v before leaving home and put the car into ready then immediatly turned the car off so that I could see how much the ready mode took out of the 12v battery. It went down to 12.4v after a single ready mode. So 12.4v is what the battery had in it as I went on holiday, and 10 days later the car started into ready mode without a problem. I'll check the battery level again shortly, but my guess is it will be around the 12v level. If so my previous post suggesting, at least in my case, that 12.1v is what my 450h seems to maintain the battery level to on an ongoing basis.
  11. In my previous post you will see that this seems to be the level (12.1v) that the vehicle maintains the 12v battery to as a matter of course. I don't understand why.
  12. I had a lot of similar issues with the app but it seems to be behaving itself lately. TBH the charger always provides power regardless of the state of the app so I regularly charge my car without any reference to the app. If I wanted to schedule charging times I use the in-car scheduling facility.
  13. The car uploads the info to the Lexus servers where the app obtains it's data. My app info is more or less the same as in the car.
  14. I've had the letter too and mine has always worked ok so far. Note that the letter says the OTA updates will be rolled out progressively from the 24th June and we won't receive any confirmation when the update has been applied.
  15. The 12v battery can definitely lose charge to a level where it cannot put the car into Ready mode for the Traction battery to take over. The Lexus/Toyota Hybrid system doesn't allow the Traction battery to fall below a level where it would fail to operate normally.
  16. My MY 23 NX450 had a Front Camera Recognition software update applied last year. I imagine that's the issue being discussed.
  17. Bill....my 450h is a MY23 ( manufactured 12/22) and does have the facility.
  18. On my NX they dip when in reverse regardless of the position of the mirror toggle
  19. I've tested my key fob to see if it goes to sleep after a certain time when the fob is stationary. I locked the doors and put the fob on the floor next to the driver's door. I tried the door after 1 minute and it opened. I did the same sequence again and after 2 minutes and the door still opened. However after a period of 4 minutes the door wouldn't open, but as soon as I moved the fob a few inches on the floor the door could be opened again. I don't feel the need for a Faraday pouch or manually turning off the fob signal for my 2023 NX450h unless I wanted belt and braces. I don't know for which model year this fob auto shut-off was introduced. But you can try it for yourselves if your interested.
  20. Edward I discovered a related issue through LV. Last year there was some confusion regarding car ownership when the car was financed via PCP and my car was 'mistakenly' stated as being a Personal Lease because that was what I was led to believe I should state as ownership. Renewing the policy this year I sought clarification regarding ownership and LV told me that if the PCP was in my name then I should state that I was the owner. This had the effect of adding 5% to my renewal premium, as I assume that relates to the extra cost to LV in a write off situation. I think that might explain why you have seen the difference with NFU. Hope that makes sense 🤔
  21. I checked my 12v battery last week and it was showing 12.1v so I charged it and it went to 12.6v. a few days later and it showed 12.1v again even though the car was used multiple times each day. Same process this week 12.6v down to 12.1v after a couple of days again used every day. The battery (and car) is 12 months old and I've had no issues with it. I'm starting to think that the vehicle seems to routinely only maintain the battery to 12.1v regardless of use.
  22. Just found this https://car-recalls.eu/recall/lexus-nx-2021-2023-e-call/ Never had a letter from Lexus so I guess I need to contact the dealer. God knows why it wasn't picked up at the recent service.
  23. Malcolm......I received the same message for my vehicle from the Lexus Checker. My NX had it's first service just last week (similar to Chris's post above) and they never mentioned it when I picked up the car. Annoying that the checker doesn't give any detail, a safety recall should mean we receive a letter from Lexus so maybe it's a campaign issue? I'm none the wiser.
  24. Do you have the Lexus recall or campaign number?
