  1. 2015 model CT200h - I noticed that, in sunlight, the inset dashboard in front of the display screen reflects on the screen itself, obscuring the lower portion - see picture 1. I found this rather irritating but came up with a simple solution - I cut a piece of scrap black velvet to fit the inset, with the fibres pointing towards the screen, and it completely removes the reflection - see picture 2. It doesn't even need to be glued in place.
  2. I tried to use a 230v inverter power pack (made specifically for vehicles) - it didn't work and I now have lost power to the 12v socket (cigar lighter) - I assume a fuse has blown. I cannot believe that the Owner's Manual does not list the fuses. The diagram inside the lid of the under-bonnet box only has cryptic acronyms - is there an explanatory diagram or list somewhere? Also, I cannot see how to remove the under-dash cover to access the other fusebox. I can see a tab near the front, but it doesn't want to release - is there another fixing I haven't seen?
  3. The factory installed rear view camera on my 2015 CT200h has misted over with condensation, which has not dissipated over more than three days - how can I remove the lens to dry it?
  4. Las Palmas - many thanks for the comments, I traded in a Toyota Auris T-Spirit for the CT200 and the audio in the Auris was distinctly inferior, though it was battling against far worse road noise. I read somewhere (online manual, I think, - can't find it again) that the audio system has inbuilt memory capable of storing a lot of music, but the manuals in the car do not mention how to load any, or even if the memory is actually there. Hence my query about manuals. Currently I use a mini USB memory stick with many of my favourite albums on it, though it means the cover of the USB slots and the outer lid have to remain open. I have updated the navigation maps from the original 2013 SD card to 2022 (I think) from satnavmapupdate.co.uk for £34.99, but I still tend to use Waze for the live traffic updates for some journeys.
  5. I have just acquired a 2015 CT200h Premier that has a Mark Levinson audio system, but the handbook in the car only covers the standard installation. Is there anywhere I can access the appropriate user instructions for the ML?
  6. Solved - rocker switch neutral position seems to register at 'open' if not careful.
  7. My car - Premier spec - has folding mirrors, when the button is in the centre the text implies that they should move when the locks are operated but the mirrors move out when the button is set to the centre position from closed, or stay out if set from open. I am guessing that the switch may be faulty if there is no user setting.
  8. Just acquired a 2015 CT200h Premier and finding my way around. The handbook has (page 42) 'Automatic mode allows the folding or extending of the mirrors to be linked to locking/unlocking of the doors.' With the switch in the central, neutral position, the mirrors do not move - is there a setting somewhere to enable this?
