  1. In France, the hybrid Battery warranty is 10 years (even with the Lexus Relax Warranty).

I checked when I bought the car with Hybrid Assistant, it had a remaining capacity of 82% at the moment I bought it. I'm very careful of temperatures (filter cleaning, very rarely exceeds 40°C now, I'm using Hybrid Assistant to force full fan in Summer, as I'm living in the south of France). I need to check that now. I also have an extra warranty if the Battery goes below 66% of capacity (don't know how Lexus would measure it as I doubt they are using HA, and I'm not sure the Hybrid Diag gives any clue of remaining capacity).

The squeak is more than likely to be the fan on the ac condenser, as I noticed this on mine yesterday, as currently sorting out a problem with my new pressure sensor. You could try spraying some wd40 on it, but I suspect you would need to remove the fan to properly get in there with it...

    Hello

There is no spinning fan at that moment (and I guess I would have heard it while the AC is operating, thus with fan spinning right ?)

Consider getting the AC refrigerant level checked it may be running fine but low potentially running dry which could cause further damage.

If it has been serviced by Lexus within the last 12 months it may qualify a repair under warranty as its not over 10 year old yet.

    Thanks all

Is there a way to check (with TS ?) the refrigerant level ? or does it need to be vacuumed to check for missing refrigerant ?

Is there a sight view with bubble check somewhere, so far cannot read anything on it.

  4. Hello

Since I got my 2015 IS300h, I have this squeaking, starting a couple of seconds after heavy AC usage, and stopping after a couple of minutes.
It seems to come from the compressor (or maybe a surrounding hose ?), and seems almost like a rotating noise, or something missing lubricant.
During the AC operation, absolutely no noise of this kind.

The AC is working very fine, but not trace of refill.

Here is a video (of course, ignore the brake vacuum and other actuators)

  5. Hi
I got a 2015 300h a couple of months ago. I noticed (only noticeable with windows down and no music/radio) a slight whistle that only kicks in while the ice is delivering power (thus when pressing the pedal). When I suddenly release the pedal the whistling stops.

no whistle at all while in EV. In maintenance mode , when revving the ice , it seems that this noise is not here but I need to confirm.

i read here similar topics suspecting the high power pressure pump or using a low octane fuel (95, never tried 98).

it is not brakes and is definitively coming from the engine bay.

the noise is roughly this one but maybe not exactly .
