Just been in touch with my dealer and they are saying that I should be on the latest version, which I don’t think I am.
Does anyone know what the latest model version is.
Been in touch with my dealer today and they are telling me that there is no update and I should be on the latest version.
I don’t think I have had a software update since I have had the car over a year ago.
As far as I am aware I don’t think I have ever had a OTA software update.
When I check my software version it is the same as it has always been ever since I got the car back in September 2023.
on the odd occasion I get in the car and it says settings are updating but not the software.
When I check in the menu it just says all the time no update available.
I am just wondering if it is an issue like with the map updates.
Is there a way to force an update.
I showed my dealer from the first week I got the car that it wasn’t right and even after a year they just said that it updated for them and tried to say I was using the incorrect USB drive.
Got the car back with the latest maps installed but it still says “ problem with map updater, please contact your dealer” when I go into update option.
So looks like the only way is to get the dealer to update every time it is in for a service.
Well car has gone into the dealer today to see if they can update the maps, they said it could take a couple of days, I even given them a USB drive with the latest map updates on.
So will have to wait and see.
I too download the map update when ever I click on the map update option in the car it comes up problem with map updater, contact dealer.
I have it booked in next month for a couple of days for them to sort it.
The service managed even said that some cars are not accepting the updates and I asked what if mine is the same he just said that we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
So will have to wait and see.
Just been in touch with my Lexus service manger about the map update and now they are saying that’s it is not as easy as expected and need my car for two days and even then the update might not work.
I tried telling my dealer last year when I got the car that there was an issue with the map updates with getting the error message from day one.
I am so frustrated especially paying for the Lexus Link Pro for the 3 years map updates.
can’t get my car back in until the 23rd October.
will have to wait and see what happens.
I told them that when I first bought the car that there was an issue with the map updates with it coming up with the message to contact the dealer and they told me it’s because there was no map updates is why it was coming up with the message and now after a year they are now saying that there is an issue.
Just had my car in for a service, asked them to update the satnav while it was in when I booked the service and they didn’t even attempt to do an update.
spoke to the service manager and is telling that they will need to download the update first and then update the car which will take about 4 hours. So I am going to get it booked in again to do the update.
told him at the time that I received the car last year that it is supposed to update OTA and why I bought Lexus Link Pro option for the updates.
He is now telling me why I am getting the error message please contact dealer when trying to update the maps is because there is a software issue not linking the satnav with the updates.
My car is in for its first service a week on Monday so I have asked for them to do a map update as well when it is in.
will have to wait and see if it’s done.
you would like to think that there is a new map update after a year.
