    Condensation In Headlamp

    I have tryed almost anything.

    But its still bad espesially after washing the car.

    I removed the black gasket round one of the main bulbs to get more air flow.

    Have not had any condensation after that.

    But put it on when you wash the engine.

    I am shure the headlamps are to "closed"(I dont know the word).To little air flow.

    I wonder if the newer headlamps are similar to the one that came first?

    Anyone have compaired them?

    Water In Front Lights.

    I have now had the headligts out and removed the glass and put in new better seal\glue between the clear glass and the headlights .

    Had them in the owen for 15 minutes and the glass came easily off.

    Puted in new expensive sealent after cleaning of the old sealent.

    Put alltogether and was very satisfied with the job.

    Dryed in room temperatur for about 2 days before I installed the headlights again.

    Then today I washed my car and took it for a ride.

    Came back home and noticed dew in both the headlights :angry:

    Not so much as before but....

    I about 100% shure that the seal between the glass(clearplastic)and the frame is ok.

    Could it be water coming in where the bulbs are or perhaps where the foam (spongs) is.

    Anyone knowing what the foam is for?

    There is only 3 years warranty on these cars here in Norway ,or else I had changed the headlamps.

    Anyone having a idea?

    I hate this as my expensive car looks so cheap with this problem.

    Blu Vision Headlight Bulbs.

    Hello.

    I need some advice on this:

    I ordered some blu vision lights from some company in US .

    Its not arrived yet and now the company want to charge me another 24$ in shipping on top of the 16$ for a product that costs 6$.

    So the total would then be 46$ for a product thats cost 6$. :duh:

    Is there other simular products with higher quality that I should search for?

    I like the look of blu bulbs in the front lights.

    Any ideas /recomendations.

    Anyone else that has problem with headlights with water/dew in ?I have to take out the parking bulb to dry them each time I have washed my car.

    It takes some days to dry with just the lamps on.But I use a hair dryer to heat/dry them.

    Perhaps I should take them of and try to put some silicon around the glass?

    Anyone other her that has done this?

    I am 38 years old and lives in a town called Stavanger that is in the south west of Norway.

    This is the main oil town in Norway.

    I have been married in 11 years and have four daughters 8-10-12-14 years old.

    I work as and computer engineer supporting and installing Ericsson application connected to Ericsson MD110 Pabxs.

    I have had my Black Is 200 in 2weeks now after owning a black Mr2 turbo .

    I miss the power in the 3s -gte but not the comfort.

    I am looking for a used supercharger to buy by time ,so if you know of anyone planning to sell please contact me.

    Hobby: My familiy and kids takes some times but it is the cars,watching my football team Viking and english football matches (Liverpool) when I got time.

    Else ,computing and music.

    I am 38 and owns a IS200.

    Bought the car from Germany 1 months ago after owning a Mr2 n/a 3 years and a Mr2 Turbo 2 years.(Have a 94 mod Previa to get all my 4 daughters with me horse riding and football.)

    There are not many IS 200 in Norway.I guess a place between 50-100.

    The Lexus is to expensive in Norway.Most people buy Corollas and Avensis

    I think a new IS200 in Norway costs about 30000 £.

    Her can you se the top ten new sold cars in Norway in 2003.:

    I sendt it to PayPal and received a answer that they had not sendt it to me.

    Nice car. :)

    The first modification I would like to do is changing to a sports grill.

    Is there anyone knowing where to buy one and how much it costs?

    I am thinking about a TTE front.

    Anyone kowing the price for this?

    I have only seen it in pictures.

    Is it realy worth the money ,or should I get a nice front lip and a new grill?

    I think that would save me a lot of money.

    What do you guys think?

    I made an offer ,but he did not accepted it.I didnt get a chance giving a new offer so...

    But there is no rush.I dont get my car until next week .

    I am importing from Germany.

    A new supercharger I think is to expensive.

    I will try to find for about max 1800 £.

    Difference In Is 200 And Is 200sport?

    Hello.

    I have got a good price on a black Is 200 2000 mod.

    The only thing that I dont like is that its not a sport.

    It has leather seats with and its black(not sure about if its a metalic.)

    I have understand that the difference would be dark vindows,Alu pedals /door sils,6 speaker not 8,different steering wheel and slip diff.

    Is there anything else that is on the sport?

    What about the stereo,is it the same other than the speakers?

    Could I easily put in speakers like the sport,and alupedals and door sils?
