Just installed but I continually get a 'An error occurred. Please try again later' when trying to accept the Standard and Remote Services terms of use.

Interesting to hear about the brake wear. Over the years both the wife and I have had numerous new Japanese and German cars and we noted that brake wear on the Japanese cars was dreadful compared to the German cars. I don't remember ever having new pads or discs on any German car (even with up to 5 years of use) but it seemed that every Japanese car had to have new pads before being 3 years old.

Close and lock but the kick sensor is about as reliable as a Citroen too.

I've just come back from a coastal break where the car was parked on a pebble 'car park' for the duration. The boot lock feature didn't work once. On returning home and parking on our tarmacced drive the boot lock works without issue. Is there a camera that's in use here? Was the pebbled car park causing confusion?

I'd love the boot lock function more if it was more reliable. I've yet to work out what I need to do in order to get it to work every time as 50% of attempts do nothing other than numerous beeping sounds.

I too had the Gracenote update message which has now disappeared. I also, at around the same time, had a message informing me that a second key fob was available and I had to contact the dealer. On contacting the dealer they informed me that they'd not seen this message before. It too has now disappeared.

Our house cameras caught someone trying to break into our cars last night which highlighted a possible issue with our 'clever' door handles. The thief first tried the wife's car with 'normal' door handles and after one pull confirmed it was locked. However, when he moved onto my NX450 the static door handles caused much confusion which resulted in him pulling really hard on numerous occasions. I've checked for any issues this morning but all seems OK. Maybe an unforeseen disadvantage of these handles?

Has anyone worked out if the cycle of: - fully point charged EV - recharge mode- full EV - recharge mode etc is more fuel\electricity efficient than: - fully point charged EV - HV mode - fully point charged EV - HV mode etc Over a long journey.

The 'Profile cannot be synced' message appeared on my NX450 for the first time over the weekend. I entered my credentials and all was OK again. I wonder if it's a temporary issue at the back end? Also had an update for the Android Lexus Link app yesterday.

I'm regularly getting 45 miles on electric at the moment which is great. This is with aircon and radio on. Impressed!

I got my second key today. It took around 15 minutes to process.

@Max Wise There's nothing available to purchase. The only item in any of the options is MAPCARE LEXUS (2/22/2023 - 2/22/2030) in the Purchased section. The estore option is empty.

When I go to the estore and choose the estore option I see the following: HERE ARE ALL THE APPS, MAPS AND CONNECTED SERVICES FOR ANY INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. But there are no apps, maps or connected services available. Interestingly, when choosing the Purchased option I see MAPCARE LEXUS (2/22/2023 - 2/22/2030). Does this mean I have free map updates until 2030?

My letter arrived last week. Car is going in on Wednesday to have the new key configured and a software update linked to the front cameras.

@Andy B - I'll try the 'Passthrough' setting during my lunchtime to see if that's the magic setting. Cheers!

I bought an AAWireless dongle which worked once but, for whatever reason, seems to be really unreliable. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. For what appears to be a simple requirement I find the multitude of configuration options in the app a bit strange - why so many configuration options for a Bluetooth dongle? I've a feeling I just need to find the magic combination of settings that make for reliable operation so if you've any configuration advice I'd be more than happy to copy what you've done. As I've had no issues with the builtin satnav and media interface I'm beginning to wonder why I'm bothering with Android Auto anyway.

I tried Android Auto for the first time on my NX450 over the weekend and noticed that I was unable to use the phone for calls. Is this a known issue?

After reading many comments describing the satnav system as 'crap' I was pleasantly impressed with its performance when used for the first time last week so not sure what issues people are experiencing.

I was hoping that the accuracy of the car location feature would help me find my car in a huge car park at Silverstone last weekend. Imagine my surprise to find out that my car was parked on my drive at home over 130 miles away.

35mpg? At the weekend I did a 200 mile motorway run at a steady 80mph and managed 45mpg over the entire trip in HV mode (starting off with hardly any electric). Yesterday I did a 100+ mile trip starting off fully charged in HV mode and did 57mpg. I'd be mortified at only getting 35mpg.

There's no update showing in the car so I'll keep an eye on it. I was parked in a field with little or no signal for a day so I wonder if the car was simply failing to call 'home' for whatever reason?

After taking my new NX450 on its first long motorway journey yesterday and parking I returned 12 hours later to see a 'Software Update Failed' message on the screen. I was then presented with numerous 'Unable to show Notifications' messages which eventually disappeared. There was also a message similar to 'Contact the Dealer' and an error code which I stupidly failed to record. The car was fine for the entire return journey. Anyone else experienced the same?

Ah - found it. So it looks like it's simply telling me to check the back if the back doors have been opened at some point.

Every so often my NX450 beeps four times when locking the car as if it's warning me about something. There's nothing in the footwells or on the seats, no unlocked doors or caps or anything else untoward. Anyone else experienced this? Is there a way of finding out what causes the beeping?
