I can only echo others here and sincerely wish you and your girls a speedy recovery. What a horrible, traumatic experience for you all. I can truthfully say a car fire is probably one of my own ‘nightmare scenarios’. Indeed. The most important thing is that you're all okay. None of you can be replaced. A tin box, as much as it was loved as we all love our cars here, can. Wishing you all the very best of luck when it comes to dealing with the insurance company. That's certainly something you don't need at the moment whilst recovering.

NX 2023 delivery date
Gary H replied to Chance521's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I arrived home this evening to find a letter from Lexus Finance. Basically my final statement on my UX, as the contract ends in September. “It’s time to make a decision”, it says. I was going to send my next chase-up to Customer Relations at the end of this week anyway, but now that I've seen this come through, I'll get it sent tonight. Fortunately I've already got a draft 'on the go' so it shouldn't take me too long to finish it. Not for me, unfortunately. Given you placed yours three months earlier of my own Takumi order, that could mean it would be sometime in August before I could hear anything progressing with my own, if we're looking at the same time frame. 15 months without so much as a build date. Ouch. Indeed, I saw that link the other day and it got me thinking about my UX. As it stands, it's still on it's original tyres after three years. They're still alright. I could 'get away' with them until very early next year - possibly they'll still be fine come MOT time next March. I think that would be pushing it, though. Without any positive news for me over the next few months on my May 2022 order, I could potentially be looking at a bill for two front tyres (at least) and even worse, it's next service and MOT if this long wait rolls over into early next year. Imagine what that would do to it's trade-in value...? I'd take 'the hit' either way. It looks like yours may possibly be in the same batch as Michael's (imgo) above... I've also got a Takumi on order but in Terrane Khaki. The latest news I have is a mid-August arrival at the dealers but considering my order was placed towards the end of May 2022 and with yours/Michael's placed three months earlier with build dates just starting to come through - I can't see it happening. I'd imagine I'd have to know pretty quickly if that genuinely was to be the case. When I placed my order a year ago (well, it's about a fortnight shy of a year...), I was told it would take about two weeks to build and then about another eight weeks to ship/arrive at the dealer. With this in mind, I couldn't see it being a problem for September. If it arrives any sooner, just ask them to hold it until then - as that's what I'd be doing if it arrived at the dealer with only 6/8 weeks to go until the current number plate changes. -

That’s what worries me. I know there’s already been the odd minor tweak to the Takumi model - so what I ordered almost a full year ago isn't what I’ll be getting (not that the dealer has bothered to tell me...). Fortunately the colour an interior are still available...for now. My salesman hasn't even gone over the finance with me. The total price will be honoured (I'm one of the fortunate ones from last year where my price has been locked) but at the time of ordering he said he wouldn't be able to give definite figures in that sense until much nearer the time. Having worked in accounts in the past myself I 'kind of' get that, although knowing the car was originally estimated to be twelve months away, I'd have thought Lexus would have been more flexible or come up with some sort of deal to show understanding. The contract on my UX comes to an end in September and they’re waiting to hear from me how long to extend it for...of which I'm waiting for any sort of progress on my order. No progress, no build date, no hope given. I have no idea what to tell them. Three months? Six months? More...? I feel that Lexus really have fundamentally screwed up when it comes to supplying the NX. They’ve very much ‘picked and chosen’ what orders to build, whilst pushing others, like myself, to one side indefinitely. Given I'm now almost up to the twelve month mark with no news, it's clear they couldn't care less about those who are having to wait much longer than others. Not just to get it shipped or delivered - the final stages - but simply getting the car built in the first place. My 'second to last' Audi come from existing new, unregistered stock within the dealer network - so it’s something which I know happens elsewhere. It was the same model and colour I wanted - it just lacked one of the two options I wanted and it saved me something along the lines of eight weeks in terms of ordering it from scratch. A long time back then, but a mere ‘blink of an eye’ to what I’m dealing with here with Lexus. -
What a stunning looking car. I do like the LC500 very much… I was in our local Waitrose last weekend and come across an identical example (complete with the tan leather) in the car park which I stopped to take a look at as I walked past!

That's the model I have on order. A Takumi in Terrane Khaki, with the Hazel interior and panoramic roof. The dealer hasn't told me anything with regards to this trim level having ongoing issues, but this certainly isn't the first time I've heard of this being mentioned on here... My salesman hasn’t even looked at my UX250h for a valuation on trade-in yet. Right from the outset when I ordered the NX, he said it would be pointless as he could only hold the valuation given on it for three months. I know I'm currently in positive equity with it, judging from used prices, but whether that'll remain the case when the time comes is anyone's guess. The only price guarantee I've been given was the price on my order. I'm amongst those who's prices were fortunately locked - which I believe is no longer the case and hasn't been for quite some time. -

Indeed. I don’t think I want to threaten them with cancellation as of yet, but if it’s the only way they might actually look into what’s happening with my order rather than giving the same generic responses, then it’s something I’m going to have to consider adding into the draft I've got ready for Customer Relations. I’m aiming to send it at the end of the week. The dealers are surely going to have to compensate those with long-standing orders, like ourselves, for this ridiculous situation which we know all too well not everyone has had to endure for essentially the same product. I couldn’t have put that better myself. Very well said. As someone who has been dealing with new cars for 20 years (well, 25 if you include everything), I’ve never, ever known a dealer to be as uncommunicative as my local Lexus Dealer. Believe me - that takes some doing. As I’ve said elsewhere, it’s not really the order I regret placing, but I certainly regret placing it with that particular dealer. They were happy and quick enough to take my deposit from me...and then basically abandon all communication with me since. I’m not really willing to ‘name and shame’ this dealer at this stage, but looking at a number of posts going back before my time on this forum, it seems it’s a dealer which has been very much praised in the past (as recently as towards the end of last year). All I can say is that I’ve experienced none of this. They seem decent enough when it comes to servicing, but in terms of sales? They’ve been dreadful. When I was discussing this order with the parents the other week, my father (someone who worked in sales pretty much his entire working life until retirement) actually come up with a theory: Give an 'estimated date' out of thin air which they know full well won’t be achieved. Get quite close to that date then revise it back a few months... A way of thinking you’re getting close as to not cancel the order, but keep on pushing it back until an official date from the factory comes in. I suspect this is why I'm being told ‘August/Mid-August’ whilst I know a few others here with similar specs on order are now being told October - which is what I’m fully expecting to be told when I next contact Customer Relations. Get to around August/September time when I next go 'above dealer level' for any sort of communication, this 'October' date will suddenly become December... Rinse and repeat. I think it'll be at this point, the end of the summer chase-up, I’ll likely be getting my deposit back and walking away if it's clear that 'the string holding the carrot' is never going to get any shorter for my order. -

Oh the irony! Lexus dealers...having regular ‘communications programmes to update customers’! 🤔😄 My dealer certainly hasn't had that memo! If it wasn't for me enquiring, there would have been zero contact over the near-year I've been waiting for any news. The one and only time they actually contacted me off their own backs was at the end of March, a few days after I'd e-mailed Customer Relations (coincidence? Unlikely...) and that was just to tell me of yet another delay to my roughest of rough 'estimates'. Thanks for the link by the way - I was actually going to link that one myself as one of my bosses at work come across it and forwarded it to me. This situation is starting to become a running joke where I work. One of the directors of the company has a six-figure car (out of privacy I won’t say what) and was more or less built to order. That took a fraction under nine months from the day of ordering to the day of collection - and that's not going back too long ago either. For a mid-size Lexus SUV to be, at my point of almost a year from ordering without even so much as a build date yet, is laughable not only to him, but fellow colleagues who know just how unhelpful, unresponsive and uncommunicative Lexus have been. -

I don’t blame you and I hope you’re enjoying the Yaris Cross. I’ve seen a few of them now and the styling is certainly growing on me. I'm not at the stage where I’m going to cancel, but the next two/three months will be vital if the order is going to remain ongoing. If Lexus dealers (certainly my one) had the common courtesy of just dropping me an e-mail once every month or so with an update (even if there was no news, but just some sort of communication to show they understand...), I wouldn’t be as frustrated as I am. It’s the complete lack of any progression/news from them which is currently hammering home the nails in the coffin to my order. My patience is coming to an end and if they still can’t provide me with so much as a build date or give me any hope that my NX will ever be built, then I'll likely be going in there for my deposit back and walking away by the end of the summer. I do have a few pre-registered alternative cars in mind as things stand. Whilst I know Lexus as a company have grumbled about 'unprecedented challenges' over supply which seems to be their default response, but from what I can see it certainly doesn’t seem to be affecting other manufacturers anywhere near as much. I don’t know how Lexus, as a company, continues to survive if they are only 'picking and choosing' who's orders to fulfil, without a care in the world for those other orders who have been outstanding for just as long, if not longer. -

Thanks for getting back to me. I do appreciate it. I'll drop Customer Relations another e-mail in about a week or so - it'll give me time to prepare a civil but firm request to them. I don't fancy getting in touch with the dealer at this stage because I think I've just about given up in having any faith in them at this point. If I copied them in, I'm almost certain just get another very basic 'estimate', even though I've specifically said I'm looking for the same build date information that others who have orders of similar order dates (and newer) to mine have been getting for weeks... One thing I do remember from a couple of months ago, when my UX was in for it's first MOT, is that when the salesman saw me and come across, he shown me the computer with the outstanding orders on for NX's. There was one there which had just gone over a year (it was a late February one...) and he was raising a case as it had gone on for so long. I'm only hoping he'll do that with mine but judging from his video text-message to me about my latest delay, it could be August before he'll do that with mine - at which I'll be up to 15 months with zero information. I'm not sure if anyone else here has had to put up with that, so far. -
I know what you mean with regards to the price. I fancied the Takumi and it's a lovely trim level. However, at the time I got my UX I simply couldn't justify breaking that £40k threshold - putting me into that £500 VED bracket for what was basically the same car mechanically, only with slightly more equipment. That's why I plumped for an F-Sport with the Tech & Safety pack which takes it to 'almost Takumi' spec - and at the time was just a fraction under that £40k. Obviously it still lacks a few bits, most notably a sunroof and heated rear seats but nothing else that bothers me.
-
I don't have the Mark Levinson sound system in my UX – just the standard equipment. I can’t say I have any complaints about it though. It's fine for my own needs. Having said that, I’m not the biggest listener of music. Occasional radio is about as far as it goes. Ten years ago I had an Audi A4 with the upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system, whilst my father had the standard system in his own A4 (which was a few years older – but still the same generation/shape). Neither of us could tell much in the way of difference at all!

Hi Harry. Yes, I’ve e-mailed customer relations twice so far - without any direct reply from them. On the first occasion, I got an ‘update’ from my salesman at the dealer via a blurred video text-message thingy, which was about a minute long. This was about two or three days later. Coincidence? Basically, it was just to tell me that I’m now on my fourth basic ‘estimated’ date of mid-August. Still no build date or anything. Lexus Customer Relations didn’t respond to me directly. If it was them, they’ve ignored what I wrote in that e-mail with regards to getting zero updates from the dealer other than the absolute basics of rough estimates - which I was already no longer interested in. On the second occasion? No reply whatsoever. At the same time I did contact them on social media (again). You may recall this post I made on 14th April, which I screenshotted their reply : https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/136633-nx-2023-delivery-date/?do=findComment&comment=1289128&_rid=78491 As you can see, only the most basic of estimates given, no progression reports or build dates. Just the same generic information. As I said in that post, it’s worth while pointing out that they want me to chase them again at the end of the month - so it’s me as the customer who is having to do all the legwork. I will try to avoid chasing them for as long as I can, but without any build dates advised to me, I have no idea what to tell Lexus finance over how long to extend my outgoing contract on my UX. I don’t think Lexus (neither the factory or the dealer) quite understand what a difficult position these unbelievably long lead times and no build date information is putting waiting customers through. I can only galvanise my opinion of that when I see others who have had orders placed from approximately a year ago (if not sooner, now) having their build dates, shipping dates e.t.c... Why are they just sitting on some old orders, showing no intentions or indications of ever building them, but happily progressing orders of similar specs which, in some cases, are many months younger? These are all questions I will be raising with the dealer when the time comes to sorting out the finance/paperwork - providing I’ve not walked away by that point. Hi Sean. I know – the situation is ridiculous. When I placed my order last May, the salesman to be fair to him did state it would be looking like twelve months. That’s absolutely fine. I prepared myself for that and he also stated that there would be a good chance it would arrive sooner – and that twelve months should be about the ‘worst case scenario’. Until the start of this year, I was happy with that. Well…’content’…would be a better way of putting it. It’s the zero news, updates or progression from then which has become increasingly infuriating as the months have progressed. Especially when you were also told at the time of ordering that I’d expect to hear of some movement in terms of my order by Christmas… Since then, becoming increasingly concerned, I found this forum whilst randomly looking for lead times/build information for NX’s and the rest is history, really. Whilst we do indeed have fellow members facing a wait like myself (and even a few months longer…), there’s multiple examples of NX’s coming in sooner – if not orders placed later than mine where build dates have already been given. As I said, I’m not quite at the stage where I’m going to cancel, but I’m very much in a position where my patience is coming to an end. All I’m asking for, which I don’t think is unreasonable given I placed the order a year ago this month, is the same courtesy. If they cannot provide that (which is proving to be the case so far) and the dealer continues it’s ‘radio silence’ with myself, then unfortunately I’m at the stage of taking this ‘higher up the chain’ to see why I’m being excluded. Lexus really haven’t handled my order well at all in my opinion. Not in terms of waiting time (again, I know there are those who have waited 14 months), but almost a full year without so much as any news, hope of ever receiving the car or any indication of it ever being built is an issue which I will be very much raising with the dealer and taking further if necessary. That sounds familiar, Pete… Getting sales e-mail from the dealer over advertising new cars to order when they can’t even provide you with a car you ordered almost a year ago… I’d say calling it ‘distasteful’ is perhaps going too far, but it’s certainly not a good look. I think in my next e-mail, I’ll mention this. Do you mind me asking what e-mail address you had for Lexus HQ? I have an e-mail address for Customer relations (cr@...) which I’ve used twice to no response so far (had an ‘indirect reply’ the first time round – I suspect they forwarded it onto my salesman. Nothing at all the second time). My last contact was via private messaging on Twitter, which they basically told me to ‘ask again’ at the end of this month. 🙄 -

I actually come to Lexus after having four Audis back to back! The thoughts have started to cross my mind in recent weeks, I have to admit. I'm now approaching the first anniversary of my order and still have absolutely no news whatsoever if or when my NX350h Takumi will ever be built. Some of the comments in the ‘2023 delivery dates’ thread have worried me as we have seen others at this stage of their order, not necessarily receiving their car, but have had build/shipping dates given. Me? It’s as if I’ve literally just placed the order and walked out the showroom with the roughest of estimates. I have been given zero information at all with regards to any progress. It’s this, over the wait, which has bothered me more than anything. If I do keep my order, I absolutely will be making a point about this when it comes to doing the necessary paperwork/appraisal for my UX. I’m reluctant to cancel because, surely, I’m now that far through the process that they’re going to have to accept my order needs to be fulfilled like anyone else’s. I’m very much getting towards the end of my tether with it all, though. I think I’m going to give them another two/three months (no set date in mind) and if they’re still unable to provide me with so much as a build date before I need to extend my contract on my UX (which the Lexus finance people themselves need to know how long to extend it for...), I think that’ll be the time for me to get my deposit back and walk away. At that point, I’ll be at the 14/15 month mark with no progress. No one can accuse me of lacking in patience. I do have a few alternatives in mind and as the weeks go by, I’m doing a little more research on what’s available and how quickly I can pick up a pre-registered/ex demo car. -
Hi Ian! Welcome to the forum. Yes, as someone who does enjoy a clean car and very much a ‘car washer’, the UX isn’t the most forgiving of body shapes to wash! After three years of ownership, the areas which tend to get ‘missed’ if you’re not careful are the bottom of the front doors (below the door mirrors), the rear bumper section which is covered by the bootlid and the very narrow channels on the outer edges of the roofrails which can conceal a surprising amount of dirt. £54,000 is indeed a lot of money. Too much for any UX in my opinion. I paid a fraction under £40,000 for my F-Sport (although mine does have the Tech & Safety Pack and the Adventure Pro Pack) and I thought that was pretty ‘heavy’ going considering the size of the car. What I paid was about the top-end of what I was willing to go to for it. I’m still on my original tyres and have done 23,800 miles. At it’s first MOT almost a month ago, I still had 5mm on the front and 6mm on the back. With any luck, they’ll see out my ownership of the car. With regards to the heated seats, I’m not sure if they have some sort of secondary thermostat in them or not, but there are occasions where you can put them on maximum (and removing/overriding the auto function) and they’re little more than warm regardless of how long it’s left on for. However, they do become notably hot on colder days on exactly the same setting. It’s never bothered me as such, but it’s a quirk my particular UX has had from day one. I’m not sure if others are the same. I can’t comment too much on the heated wheel. I’ve only used it about a dozen or so times and even then, I’ve turned it off after about five minutes!

NX 2023 delivery date
Gary H replied to Chance521's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Very lucky indeed. I’m now heading towards the first anniversary of placing my order still without any progression at all, having passed the 11 month mark last week. I’m genuinely interested if my own dealer is embarrassed by this situation or, as I suspect is more of the case, they couldn't care less. Waiting this length of time with no news or any hope certainly does take the shine off the whole experience. As I’ve said before in this thread - I'm fed up with it all now and it'll be something I will be bringing up with the dealer when (or if, rather...) the time comes. I've no idea how I’ll react when I get so much as a build date, yet alone actually receiving the car - which I have my doubts will ever happen. The factory does seem to 'pick and choose' what orders they want to fulfil, regardless of how long people have been waiting. The only saving grace is that I've read what are generally complimentary comments towards the NX. -
I've had the odd 'quirky' moment with mine, but it's usually in the winter months when I usually find it doesn’t like to stay in EV mode very much. It'll take a long time with the engine running before it'll switch and when it does, barely more than the lightest of throttle use will kick the engine back in. As we're now approaching warmer months, all is fine!

I can imagine the Vapo Rub coming through into the cabin from the air vents whilst driving. I can picture it now - any passenger looking confused, sniffing and saying "Can you smell Vicks?!" 😄

Adding my order to MyLexus
Gary H replied to Deb's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
I'm glad I’m not the only one who hasn't had any information via the app. I can see my own car there, with all the usual information e.t.c, but there's never been any sign of my eleven month old order ever appearing on it. I did mention this to my salesman in early March (when my UX was in for it’s first MOT and by chance he saw me whilst sitting in the service area...) but he didn't put himself forward to look into it. Instead, he just took me through to the sales office with the computers and pointed to my order on his screen...which naturally didn't tell me anything. I've logged into ‘MyLexus’ on my laptop (isn't that a different app altogether from Lexus Link - or am I incorrect?), but that basically echos much of the information what I have on the Lexus Link app on my phone. It's linked into my car I have now, but has no information or any way I can add my outstanding order to it - not without a VIN or registration number as Deb has already pointed out. Thanks for your reply with regards to this in the 'delivery date' thread, Harry. Much appreciated. At least I know it's not me being an idiot not being able to find something in the app which to others may have been obvious! I did wonder how other people's orders were showing when the car wasn't even built! The only time I get any 'update' on my order (and I use that term very loosely) is if I physically call the dealer or go down there in person. Even then the information is just basic ETA's - as if I've only just placed the order and I'm still at 'day one'. They have my e-mail address and phone number. I've never received an e-mail from them and the only time I’ve had a call was a brief video-text which, confidentially, was a few days after I e-mailed Customer Relations for the first time - which they themselves never responded to me. 🙄 -
Enjoy! That's practically identical to what I have on order - Takumi spec in Terrane Khaki, with the tan leather and panoramic roof. The only difference, barring being right hand drive of course, is that it’s in the company's 'reluctant to build' 350h flavour. The one I ordered was identical to the one in my local dealer's showroom at the time. I wasn’t actually looking at a Takumi spec to begin with. It was an F-Sport - like I have with my current UX. However, other than a change of colour for the leather, there’s no major difference to what I have now...and I did fall in love with the Takumi they had in the showroom. A Volvo XC60 was my second option and I do really like them. My previous car to the UX I have, was an Audi Q5.

Which. Supermarket petrol quality: what you need to know
Gary H replied to Marlinleg's topic in Lexus General Discussions
It certainly is of interest. Many thanks for the link. From my experience in the UX, it’s economy has suffered by using E10 over E5, but in a slightly unusual way which I’m not sure if any fellow members could relate to. If I'm just pottering around town or going back and forth to work – the difference is minimal. However, on distance runs it does seem to drop it by a good 4-6mpg compared to what I used to be getting from E5. For instance, on one particular drive I do (roughly 250 miles), I used to get around 56-58mpg, depending on how I drove. Today? Using the same route, I struggle to get much more than 52/53mpg. I have to almost 'hypermile' to get it close to those old figures. I have similar kinds of results if I compare supermarket fuel to branded fuel. Again, on the same route I've compared figures by using supermarket fuel on the way down and then branded fuel on the return leg the following day. I generally get a few mpg more from branded fuel and that's also noticeable on the fuel gauge at the end of the journey. -
NX 2023 delivery date
Gary H replied to Chance521's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h+ Club
Predictably no updates for me at all. A May 2022 order for an NX350h Takumi and awaiting so much as a build date or the first piece of positive news to inform me of any sort of progression. Given things are now appearing to be moving forwards, I’ll see how long I can last before I either drop Lexus Customer Relations a third e-mail (maybe third time lucky for any response from them?) or contact the dealer again - as they certainly won't get in touch with me either by phone or e-mail. No roasting at all! I’ve been very impressed by Kia’s offerings for the last four years or so. They do build some quality kit these days. Before I got my UX250h, I did actually consider an eNiro. I’d even gone as far as working out all the sums for the spec I wanted and even a dealer visit. However, the range just wasn’t *quite* there for me (and still isn’t - more than three years on), so that’s when I turned to Lexus and self-charging hybrids, which have shown to be the best of both worlds for me. I’m genuinely impressed that you ordered towards the start of this month and have already had news. It’s a shame my own experience is the complete opposite end of the scale... I wished I’d had ordered from your dealer! My Lexus Link app shows nothing but the data of my existing car. It's never shown my order and I've no idea how to add it. 😕 Go to the 'add car' section and it wants either a registration or VIN number. Hi Deb, I also ordered in May 2022. There's been no news whatsoever, I'm sorry to say. I haven't got a clue when or if it'll ever get built. Given we're now seeing notable progress for orders taken after this, it really isn't leaving me in a positive place at all with Lexus as a company. -
I'm sincerely hoping so, for they must have an enormous backlog of NX orders (particularly the 350h) to clear... Alas still no news from my local dealer I’m sorry to say. As I said on the '2023 delivery date' thread the other day, unless I specifically chase, there's very much a ‘radio silence' from them. No news, no updates, no progressions, no...anything. I didn't mind that up until Christmas as I remember being told quite clearly from my salesman I'd be unlikely to hear anything until that point. That's fine... It’s the zero communication from then which has got to me. Anyway, thanks for the link. I do genuinely appreciate these reports (for I keep on forgetting to bookmark the site). I haven’t had chance to go through them all I have to admit, but I can't see any dates amongst them specifically for the NX? I apologise if I've missed something along the lines and I’ll happily stand corrected if that’s the case.

The F-Sport seats are great for long distances. I have the occasional issue with my lower back and can be quite fussy when it comes to seats. On my 250-360 mile jaunts I do on occasions, I can comfortably count on one hand the times I've felt just the starting of any sort of ache – and that's often right towards the end of those longer 300+ mile drives. The suspension can be a little on the firm side on rougher surfaces but I’ve always found it to be more compliant and comfortable than the Audi Q5 it replaced. On regular single carriageway ‘A’ roads, it’s usually very good indeed. My only quibble I have when it comes to ride quality is the ability for the car to 'skit' a little in certain circumstances (i.e – if you’re cornering and going down bumps at the same time) due to the run flat tyres. Overall, in the three years I’ve had the F-Sport, I’ve not had any regrets in choosing it. (P.S – Mine does have the Tech & Safety Pack)

I renewed my insurance only last month and my insurers tried to increase my premium by close to 50% - despite no changes at all in circumstances. A few phone calls later and I managed to chop that down to size to a rise of 12%, which is still annoying considering in recent years my premium has been steadily dropping. Just about everywhere I looked, premiums are up by around 11/12% where I am...

Lexus Dealer Quality - A Natural Decline?
Gary H replied to Rabbers's topic in Lexus General Discussions
Unfortunately relatable. I’ve had that happen a couple of times this year, so far... However yes, in their defence they’ve generally been decent if you’ve physically gone into the showroom.
