  1. Hi Brian, yes Tel in Derby suggested the same, which I have. Although not an HGV Tiger, I've been driving since 1975 (I'm 70 yo now, originally from Warrington, now living in Aberdeenshire) but I used to be a service engineer travelling, driving all over the UK. The white marks were the bug splat. My initial 'suggestion' was the design was probably 'disappointing'... anyway, winter is coming.... I'll keep everyone posted 👍
  2. Hi Tel, Yep, I suppose as it is a new car, and they use a form of wax that can be hard to remove, I suppose there could still be residual on the blade edge. I'll clean them again and get back to you. Thanks for the tips
  3. Hi Tel, thanks for that, just to try and show everyone what I mean I've put a short video on which I hope you can see. When I picked the car up the reservoir had just water in it, which may be part of the issue. It's the passenger side wash which seems to be the side that could effectively remove the bug splat 20241004_140640_001.mp4
  4. Thanks for the tip Tel.... I must remember to do that can you recommend a decent screen wash?
  5. Hi Rayann, Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's exactly that, though I'm not sure whether I like it as a design. When I used it for the first time it didn't seem to clear the marks on the screen, just pushed the water off to the side
  6. I took on my LBX last Friday and didn't notice this until I got home. I'm not sure if this is a design issue or me not looking at the problem properly. I've had 5 Lexus models since 2008, the first being the IS250, followed by RX450, NX300, NX350 and now the LBX. When I used the wipers to clear bugs off the windscreen from the home journey, I noticed that the driver's side wiper put all the water down the right-hand side of the screen and not on the windscreen itself. I contacted the dealership and in all fairness to them they came to pick the car up from Dundee (I was also waiting for dash cams to be fitted so they did this at the same time). However, they checked my LBX against others and they were the same. So I ask if anyone else has noticed this and if so, is it a design issue.
  7. On my 4th Lexus (2nd new NX350H) and they all had a creak especially when in the 'HOLD' point on a gradient (up or down). I did find that letting the hybrid system do its job i.e. slowing down earlier, softer breaking when in traffic reduced the 'creak'

  9. Thanks for the responses all. It sounds as if there might be some issues in the UK, HuaWei type?

  11. Hello Members, As I'm a new member I wonder if any of the more experienced members can advise on my query? I've had 4 Lexus models since 2008 - IS250 2008 (Imported from Australia), RX450, NX300H and this week picked up my brand new NX350H. I had some initial issues regarding the navigation system (user not aware that the services needed activating). Having got past some of the differences between my early NX and this new model, I had hoped that I would be able to connect wirelessly between my Android Galaxy A135G mobile, but after numerous attempts to complete this function I Google searched and found a Lexus specialist on one of the US Lexus sites which takes you through the requirements to complete both iPhone and Android wireless connection. I checked through everything that needed to be done, Bluetooth connection etc, etc. to no avail. I connected my USB/Charger cable and everything came alive, disconnecting removed the apps. I contacted my agent at Lexus Edinburgh who informed me that the UK versions will only wirelessly connect via Apple iPhone models, it appears that it's the same for all UK Lexus models. Why is it different for UK versions, surely the technology on both sides of the pond exists? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it just seems strange, I love my new NX Art
