Hello Members,
As I'm a new member I wonder if any of the more experienced members can advise on my query?
I've had 4 Lexus models since 2008 - IS250 2008 (Imported from Australia), RX450, NX300H and this week picked up my brand new NX350H. I had some initial issues regarding the navigation system (user not aware that the services needed activating). Having got past some of the differences between my early NX and this new model, I had hoped that I would be able to connect wirelessly between my Android Galaxy A135G mobile, but after numerous attempts to complete this function I Google searched and found a Lexus specialist on one of the US Lexus sites which takes you through the requirements to complete both iPhone and Android wireless connection. I checked through everything that needed to be done, Bluetooth connection etc, etc. to no avail. I connected my USB/Charger cable and everything came alive, disconnecting removed the apps.
I contacted my agent at Lexus Edinburgh who informed me that the UK versions will only wirelessly connect via Apple iPhone models, it appears that it's the same for all UK Lexus models. Why is it different for UK versions, surely the technology on both sides of the pond exists?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it just seems strange, I love my new NX
