I think the 2nd Gen NXs have to beep at least 30 times per drive, so if they haven't all been used up during normal driving conditions, any excess beeps are discharged once the journey has finished.
I agree with this 😅. Even when driving I get various "alerts" that confuse me 😅

I would give it a good check over inside and out. It has fairly low mileage so should be in good condition.
I would try to get a price reduction or good trade in price (which is not always easy 🙄)

Not sure what your requirements are, but a portable Battery pack / power bank could be a cheaper option than trying to get charging ports installed.
Not ideal, but might work OK.

Good to see cars with a decent mileage 😀

2nd Key fob received today 😀
Approx. 6 months after delivery.

Another mystery 😀
I can have a full tank of petrol, drive about 50 miles mainly using the engine, and still have 100% fuel showing on the app 🙈

Welcome back 😀
RX sounds nice.

Yes, love the red. I can't remember if it was available when I ordered. I remember thinking that there was not a great selection and I was going to go for black.
I'm not normally a fan of red interior but this all matches well 😀

There was a recent post about the same thing recently.
I think the replies indicate that this is "normal".

You would get a little more boot and interior space 😉
Took the words out of my mouth 😅
I haven't driven one, but the larger model is often "a bit nicer to drive".
Good luck 😀

Since Covid, I have found that service in general (everywhere) is extremely poor.
Hopefully it will eventually improve 🙈🙈

Quite rubbish.
Good luck with it all anyway.

Do they still put grease (or whatever it is called) on the back of brake pads?
That used to stop any squealing.

Hopefully all good now 😀

Anyone knows how long after the delivery we will receive the second key? Collected the car a few days ago with 1 key. Thanks
It was (is?) about 6 months before you receive the second key but the wait time was apparently coming down.
You would assume that new cars would eventually come with both keys.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Alan.
I can understand how the diversion of a new car could be a welcome distraction at such a difficult time. 🙁
Yes, agree with this.
Enjoy your new car.

Like Ken R, I too am changing my 2 year old NX450h+ Premium Plus, but I'm staying with the NX, same model just a different colour - so the neighbours know I've got a new car 😁
I only went in because I got a puncture!!! 😁
Swapping Sonic Grey with Red interior for a Sonic Titanium with black interior
I did look at the RX but it is too big for our needs.
Expensive puncture 😅😅

"In general" the "bigger" models are often nicer than the smaller models. Not sure why this should be. Years ago I was very interested in an X5 but just found it too big. The X3 at the time was very dull by comparison. The current X3 is a better car.
I like driving the bigger cars but just find parking them a bit of a nightmare. Parking spaces are often too small.

Good luck with your new RX 😀
I would be interested to know how you think they compare.

You would like to think that there was a low Battery warning.
If the batteries don't last very long they should perhaps be replaced at the yearly service.

My car is in the garage and it is quite convenient to just use the 3 pin cable. I generally use it as a "top up" which only takes a couple of hours.
My main "fuse box" is not easy to get to therefore I am not looking at a fast charger for now.

Sounds like a trip to your dealer.
I had this on a previous SUV (not Lexus). It required adjustment by dealer. No further problems with it.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would tag onto this one.
I am hopefully picking up my new NX350h AWD next week, but I am going on holiday a few weeks after for nearly four weeks. I am familiar with using a smart charger as I use one on my Prius when I go away and have it linked to a smart plug so it comes on twice a week for 8 hours per day.
My question is, on my Prius it was easy as the battery is under the bonnet, but the NX is in the boot. Do I have to connect the charger to the terminals in the boot or can I use the jump points under the bonnet?
Or will I be OK as it will be a new battery rather than my original 7 year old battery I currently have?
Thanks.
My NX has been left in the garage for about 3 and a half weeks and "started" all OK yesterday.
Hope this helps.
I would prefer not to use a trickle charger.

I am very surprised that manufacturers don't sell lots of cars at £39,995.
There are even lots of cars just over £40k which seems stupid 🙄

Wise move. Plenty of nice cars out there.
Good luck 😀
